Is it possible that this craft has a bonecrafting requirement? Possibly only 1 so that people aren't getting skill-ups? Because I'm having a hard time explaining the lack of HQs when I regularly HQ the other Seer's and Noct pieces. I only suggest bonecrafting because the Seer's Crown is bonecrafting, so it would put this set's headpiece in line with Seer's, which is very comparable in terms of crafting.
This is NOT subcraft leather 5. Its min level to suceed is lvl 11 leathercraft. Even with that I had stack of all ingredients and only made 5. Hope that helps
The skill cap's for this item are definitely wrong. Can someone help me out? I'm Clothcraft(23) and Leathercraft(5) and have failed after 6 attempts with this recipe. I've tried with Clothcraft Imagery and Leathercraft Imagery to no avail.
This item has horrible HQ rate, at least for me. I never could HQ it decently. Recently, I got a commission for a +1. 11 tries and no HQ at Cloth 93.8/Leather 60 >.>
I spent a good two hours waiting for someone in west ronfaure once. with 54 cloth/49 leather, and on darksday/firesday 20%~, I didn't HQ once out of about 36 syntheses.
I can confirm that the clothcraft level cap for these is higher than 20. With clothcraft 23, I tried this several times on a Darksday with a new moon. I had leathercraft image support, as I'm only level 4 in that. I got skillups very quickly - 0.7 in 4 synths. After hitting level 24, the skillups stopped, even after trying another 5 or so synths. Just to note, I failed all of them ^^. Also, as to the leathercraft cap, I was allowed to try this at level 4 with the support, but couldnt try when the support wore off. Note quite sure where that places the cap. Hope this helps.
Seeing as anyone with excellent crafting skills are making these (and all the other new armor) now, I'm fearing the price is going to drop for a while until a stable supply is reached. I bought this particular hat for 15k at the Jeuno AH. There were about 11 of these hats in the AH at the time of purchase. Seeing as I sold my Mer. Cap. Headgear (at 10k) to help pay off this hat, I'm hoping that later, when I can replace the hat, that the price isn't lower than 10k X_X
Though, I pity the anxious fools who jumped on the first few of these that went on sale, and paid about 80k+ for these new armor pieces.
bought one as soon as i saw it in AH yesterday, Looks like AF hat. Ranger AF that is.
I don't mean to be picky, but this hat is slightly different from the RNG AF Beret. From the picture, this beret has a plume in it whereas the Hunter's Beret has a leaf. To my knowledge, the only other beret that has a leaf instead of a plume is the Scout's Beret.
