Pretty good food for merit parties, if you have a bard he can use minuet 4 and blade madrigal(Read someplace that it was 31ACC) + 90 ATK! Instead of Minuet 3(30-40ATK?) vs Sushi (37ACC?) Or Victory March.

my minuets add about 55 attk a piece.

i do 112 with 2x minuet.

This food also at least used to add Lizard Killer effect. I was soloing drg in dunes and saw it take effect several times, with this food on. It's possible they may have recently changed it, as when I levelled mnk in dunes with this (both jobs i used it mostly for the str, not the attack), I didn't see it take effect even once. And as you know, mnk's tend to tank a lot at lower levels.
If/when I go back to drg, I'll see if it still works, and even then I won't be sure if it doesn't, since I could simply have purely bad luck and never have it kick in. >.>;;

(e.t.a) Oops. I read Zamian's post before posting, but I didn't notice that he too said it has Lizard Killer. Can anyone confirm if this stat has been removed?

Why in the world did you waste a Bison steak in the dunes?

Because I was soloing, I had plenty to spare (made it myself), and had been told about the lizard killer effect, which was why I was using it in the first place.

It probably still does have the Lizard Killer Effect, Allakhazam doesn't like to list the killer effects food gives you for some reason.

well with the new changes this is a MUCH more viable option over miths and chiefs for higher lvl melee. For one thing you now get a bigger att bonus over miths and chief at lvl now

I might have to lvl cooking to 65 now just to synth this...

This is actually very good food. Not, it's not as universal in it's usefulness as meat mithkabobs, but there's a lot of jobs that would benifit from this food greatly.

For instance, thf/mnk before level 33. You're using h2h, and the added dex helps raise the possible cap for SA damange. The added STR helps you hit that damage cap. STR is very important in general for H2H users, so monks should find this to be particually appealing.

Drks would probably be better served with meat miths for damage, eyeball soup for acc, or roast piara for a combination of the two.

Also, judging by the prices on fairy, this stuff should be very cheap. Buffalo meat is going for less than 1k currently. The other ingrediants aren't bad cost-wise either.
This vs Mithkabob

At any level I'd still prefer the Mithkabob. +3 DEX won't rival +22% attack in my opinion; and +6 STR doesn't do much except increase the curve of your max damage.

This is a great item it seems, especially if you already use DEX food (why not throw some STR in while your at it ^^) but it won't likely be used very much at all.

Here's the reciepe i got. I'm lvl 65 Craftsman

Fire crystal

1 x handful of bayleaves
1 x pinch of black pepper
1 x flask of olive oil
1 x chunk of rock salt
1 x rarab tail
1 x slice of buffalo meat

I'm afraid that when i wrote the reciepe down i neglected to write down the crystal type. But i believe that as with most steaks it will use a fire crystal.
