The enchantment lasts under 15 minutes. I would even venture to say under 10. It is removed when you remove the enchanted item.
Experiments with this prove futile, I dont believe they stack, after getting 54g off a Gigas Kettlemaker. Either they don't stack, or it has some very strange formulae where its (ammount * (ammount * random number between .01 and 1), for each Gilfinder you have.
Either way, I was extremely disappointed. not worth the gil.
Gilfinder gives a multiplier to the amount of gil dropped from a mob. Thing is though, the only time it really works is when soloing, otherwise amount of gil you get in a PT is about what a non-thf would get soloing.
If you wanna make the most out of this, I'd suggest something like Gigas mobs, I tend to get well over 100 gil easy per kill from them. But, given the price of the item, even killing Gigas I doubt you'd make back the amount spent.
Using the enchantment turns you into a Chinese speaking, MPKing, NM camp-claiming player who in the duration of the enchantment funds go straight to IGE instead of your equip. pool. XD
He at no point said anything about chinese people.. he just said you could speak chinese, he may be complimenting the gil-sellers knowledge of languages >.<
Hey guys, this is "Enchantment: gilfinder" not "mug" two different things, gilfinder is the gil drop multiplier job trait, not the ability to mug the mob of gil, granted this may multiply mug but I dont know since ive had both since i started playing.
These are mainly used for HNMs. One time in Kufkal Tunnel our THF ran up to Guivre and mugged him for 1k+ gil. If you ever get a chance to fight King or regular Behemoth thats where the gloves come in. you can make very nice gil mugging HNMs
How many charges does this item have? At lvl 41 mugging most things will get you 50 gil tops. Now, if there are 50 charges and you mug every mob for 50 gil thats only 2,500gil. I really don't see the return value in this item. And by the way 50 gil from a mob is a lot. You will more then likely only steal 10-40 gil so my numbers were very kind. The item that Thieves should worry about are those damned powder boots.
heh.. its mug. really now. how often do you use it? every little bit adds up sure, but only worthwile mobs to mug are NM. mug is a gimpy JA in this game, and it needs an overhaul.
-but i do agree with you, it's defiantly taking the novelity out of our class.
I'm sorry, but this is just pissing me off. SE is selling THF abilites on gear, Mug And flee, echancement and latent effect for other jobs. Although they arent all that good, ceot for flee, they are putting it that other jobs can be a thf poser sort to say, without subbing thf. So i think they should be fair and like, add other jobs abilities like souleater and maybe even meditate on gear, to be fair to the THfs that help so many ppl.
