I just bought one of these as a 47PLD, and I'm not impressed, for several reasons.

1) It only restores about 50-60hp per player, not that much.

2) Usually, none of other people in my party have even taken damage, so this only cures me and maybe one other person, the SATA partner or whatnot.

3) It takes too long to cast.

On the upside, you don't need any MP and it can't be interrupted, but for hate at this earring's level you're better off with the Cures you already have.

Save your money, or get a Drone.

I picked one of these up, on a whim, from a bazaar before heading into the Nest to level. Experiencing on flies this came in handy. Not a lot of curing but after a dark sphere attack 50-60hp x 6 = enough hate to let the mages cure away. Yeah casting time is too slow & it's only good after an AOE attack. Would rather have a mercenary earring but until then this'll do
Recharing Enchanted Items
# Oct 16 2004 at 3:53 AM Rating: Decent
I heard somewhere or other that you recharge enchanted items by trading the item and an infinity core to one of the apparati in a Hall of Transference. Haven't gotten any enchanted items yet, so I've been unable to test it ^^;

As I said, this is only what I've heard. Anybody wanna try it out?

I believe someone was saying something about the item recharging if a PLD had it equipped for long enough... no idea how true this is, but it might be worth checking out (level 1 PLD here, so I can't confirm it myself).

If these are crafted, once they get used up (charges) it will revert to the "normal" item and then, you resynth it to get the charges back. Of course, this is all IF it is able to be synthed and what it would be synthed from. ^_^

That is completely false. For example, Warp Cudgels are enchanted items that are crafted. When all the charges are used, it still remains a Warp Cudgel, but has 0/30 charges. The only benefit at that point is NPCing it for some of what you paid for it. If you don't know anything, shut the hell up and don't confuse people who aren't as moronic as you.

Yeah, what he said.
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 30 2004 at 3:26 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) OfCourse you should be able to recharge a Enchantmented Item, or that would be pretty lame. Spending like 50k and more on a item then using it 10 times, then it becoming useless.

If im correct then you can only sell the item back if it has all of its enchantment 'points' at full.

And of course you could pull the 11 Arrows out of a dead mob.

But can't you resell these on the auction house? I doubt SE would make it so you could pay for an unusable item at the AH.

You can resell, but only if it's fully charged. Don't know who you go to to recharge them though, or how much it costs, there's probably a cost.

Well, I still pray these types of items can be recharged (I assume so). This is a wonderful thing to have as a PLD to gain some delicous Hate up hate if the party also needs a Curaga. Plus no MP needed ^^

Only one problem: the Curaga cast time. It means if your a damage dealing WAR you can blast it out any time, but if your a PLD and getting hit, there's no way you'll get this through unless the mob is paralyzed or intimidated a couple times though.

Actually using the enchantment on an item counts as using an item, just like a warp scroll. Item use cannot be interrupted unless you move.

This is a Great earring for exp parties, or Skill up parties. But I would have to change to is when I wanted to use it.

Actually, the recast time is only 30 seconds, so you could equipt it, wait 30, cast it, then revert back to your old earing.
