some people in my ls say these are not effected by treasure hunter, has anyone else heard this?
Bring THF

Spent 8 Hours the other night farming this and not a single drop >.<

We didnt have a thf unfortunately which might have made the difference but even so, 8hrs is far to long to go without a drop with or without Treasure Hunter. Also it was full moon 95% which I thought would have helped with the drop rate.

Never try to farm these without at least 1 THF I say, I know I wont again

The water drops a lot more often when is farmed on Fullmoon.

Ive heard of people getting 5 to 8 waters on a single night when is fullmoon.

Ha, we spent 2 hours to get one the other night, then went to pop Olla the next day and got 3 in a row just killing the placeholders then poped it 3 more times lol.

First time I camped this, took 2+ hours to get the first one. Started killing a couple extra pots before we spawned Olla so the melee could get TP to 300, and got a second to drop. Popped Olla a second time, and mid fight the pot that spawns in the room repops. We sleep it, kill it after we kill Olla....and it drops the water.

Yes this is rare drop. Bring a Thief.
Great time for weapon skill ups and for low experience gains.

It is a fairly rare drop... I have seen parties go for 4 hours without a single drop, but I have also seen them get a drop within 2 or 3 kills. The water is traded to a ??? in the same area to spawn the ollas.. there are three of them, and as you kill one the next one spawns. When you kill Olla Grande a Winterstone drops, which is used to spawn Genbu.

If I recall correctly, this is used to trigger the spawn of Olla Pequena, the first of three consecutive NMs that must be defeated to acquire a Winterstone, half of the pop items needed to fight Genbu.
