Man I got lucky today and was able to buy one of theese for 3000 gil, now I just have to get lucky again and get another.
Today I have been doing some investigating into what equipment I will want/need for my Monk that I am leveling starting today. It seems that between 10 and 21, these would be the best earrings once you hit 16 for a Monk (or DD, non-tank player) until Beetle Earrings +1, and you could use them for those five levels.

in the book it says that this only makes the boneearring not the bone earring +1

+1's are high quality versions of the regular ones, so the same recipe makes both, but you need to usually be much higher above the cap to get the +1 (usually, no one is quite sure what factors precisely give a HQ synth)
HQ tiers are
1-10 levels above 1-2% chance
11-30 levels above 10% chance
31-50 levels above 30% chance
51+ levels above 50% chance
