Went looking for this while waiting for my CoP set to gather.. it didn't look foggy outside, but popped ??? a little after 0301 GT.
Soloed easily as whm66/blm33.. paralyze stuck for almost the entire fight. Went through 2 Stoneskins, got me into yellow (still 500+ hp) by the time I finished him off, didn't have to cure myself til after fight. EZ
350k-400k on Ragnarok

Camped the ??? for hrs/days between 2-7 and still can't get the NM to pop. All cs/npc talk done - very suprised it takes this long...

My bf gave me one as a gift, cost him 600k on Hades although i think the price went down now ^^; still it gives almost as much MP as an astral and cost over 400k less, so its worth it (*^-^)

The rope sells for about 250k in carbuncle, which i dont think is worth it at all. i mean, it doesnt take anything down but its still not worth 250k in my eyes.
You're kidding, right? This is almost as much mp as an astral and it gives you hp instead of taking it away. Most of the items I've stuck in the waist slot before this were spell interruption down.
Of course, I am a whm so we don't have convert and my AF gives spell interruption down so that's where my perspective comes from.

i went there and talked to the ppl and i wasnt getting the quest, is there some kind of fame lvl or something?(help me out)

The name of the quest is: Petals for Parelbriaux
Prerequisite: Can be obtained at CoP mission 4-2; possibly another prerequisite.
Talk to Chemioue, located at J-6 on the upper level.
Talk to Parelbriaux, located at K-7 on the upper level, for a cut-scene.
Talk to Ondieulix, located at I-7 on the main level, for a cut-scene and to activate the quest.
Go to Lufaise Meadows and find the ??? at G-6; it needs to be selected during fog weather. (Fog shows up sporatically, usually during the morning from 2:00-7:00. It can only show when there is no weather icon up.)
The Flytrap NM Baumesel will spawn when the ??? is selected during fog, and must be defeated. If multiple people in a group need the quest, it only has to be defeated once for all of them. After the NM is defeated, select the ??? again for a cut-scene.
Return to the Tavnazian Safehold and talk with Ondieulix for a cut-scene, ending the quest and providing your Powerful Rope reward.

Title Obtained: Putrid Purveyor of Pungent Petals
Recommended Level: Soloable at level 62 or above.
Pretty much immediately after I had killed the NM and clicked on the ??? another player popped him and pretty much single shotted it (he was a Rng75). So, there doesn't seem to be much of a repop timer on this NM.

What's up with this item? I bought one last night, and it must be new, I don't recall seeing it there as recently as before the lastest update. Where does it come from?
