The item doesn't show in any AH and for the life in me i cant remember how much it cost me. I've only seen one other player with one.
Added AH category.
I nearly soloed it as a 75 RNG.
It Flashed before my 2nd Sidewinder so it missed and then it invincibled and hid in its shell.Id already used my 2 hour and Barrage and it got too much HP back and I couldnt build TP while it was Invincibled to kill it. I got it to about 8%

Only 4 of these have ever been sold at the AH on Bahamut. 1 gil, 2 million, 3 million, and 4 million.

Got the drop last night. Would seem to be a nice piece of headgear for level capped areas.

Me and two other people got this last night :O The clipper zoned riight after we killed the nm and the quartermaster got the drops :3

I bought one of these about a month ago at the Auction House for 1,000,000 gil. :) I think I scored pretty decently considering that only 4 others on the entire server have ever been sold before.
I'm on the Carbuncle server. Price history shows as 50,000 gil for the first one, 300,000 for the two after that, and then 500,000 for the fourth one. I grabbed the fifth one for 1,000,000.
Do you think somebody would buy it? I want to sell it and be able to afford the Vermillion Cloak. This is such a rare and GOOD item that I think I should be able to sell it for 5,000,000.
What do you think!?

5000k for the Kossin might be a good price , i have never seen one before so it must be rare . Is it like a head band , If so hell i will buy it off you I have 8000k more left anyway .
This is the perfect headpiece for mages and certain melees for use in ENM and other level capped areas. I just replaced my Electrum Hairpin, but wish they made it 2 levels below so that I could wear it on 30-capped missions.

orz... only sold 4 times on my server, last sale for 5 mil. Also i think the same one been sold 2 times on AH, never seen anyone with it except a person i do CoP static with. Great item for CoP capped areas.. but i wouldnt spend 5 mil on one.

On Fairy Server, only one has ever been sold. I would put it up around a million or so. The stats are MP+20 HP+20 very very useful hairpin. What level were you when you killed this guy? I wouldn't mind having one for my rdm.

I killed the NM today, and got the pin. I tried to look on the AH for this pin and it has never been posted before, the item didn't appear in the list, so I sold it to myself for 1 gil to put it on the list. I'm trying to decide whether to try to sell it or to use it when I level paladin..if I sell it, I'm not sure what to try to sell it for, lol

I need this Head armor, im currently RDM36/WHM18 (dont say to sub blm cuz i will when my warp cudgel runs out -_-). only 2 Kosshins have been sold in the jeuno ah on Cerberus Server and i haven't found any in-stock. If any1 on Cerberus has 1 /tell Rowin i'll pay 180k for it.

I'm a level 31 Red Mage (I was 32 but my Chocobo ditched me in Sauro and that was the end of that), and I'm trying to get ahold of this, as it's the perfect RDM head equipment lv.32-50 or so. Unfortunately, it's dropped by a lv.62 NM... any suggestions on how to get this, aside from RMT?

i got lucky and saw this item on ah. there was no price history and only one was up. i needed the mp+ at the time so i bid til i won it for 200k. i've had this item nearly a month and am still the only person to have ever bought one on the ah history. i'm thinking of jacking the price up because i believe this is the best item a smn, whm, or rdm can possibly have til like level 50+. i really dig this item and have random people asking me about it all the time since my name is the only one on ah history.
lol, you shouldn't assume that just because auto-collection sent it in it isn't (or is) in the game. Go look for yourself, don't beg and ask if it's real XD

i'm excited! ^^ as a hume 60BRD/30WHM, i have between 154-173 MP depending on current equips, so giving up one inventory spot for an extra 20MP with no downsides would be a small sacrifice to make ^^;;

If its MP you want then a Gold Hairpin would surely be better than this, although you would lose out on a bit of HP but a BRD shouldnt be worrying about that too much...
Most the BRDs I've PTd with just used a Gold Hairpin until 65, then they switch to an Opo-Opo Crown which, as you probably know, gives HP+50, MP+50 AND CHR+14 when a Pamama has been eaten :Q

The only problem with the Gold Hairpin is unless you are level 50 you can't use it. You can use this for 18 levels then switch.

not to mention GODS/some HNM/dynamis....how often does a brd take hits at that and how often make or would make 20 HP the difference between dead and somehow alive (i'm BRD75 and i have survived w/ less then 10HP out of 900-1200HP more then once)

actually, i would rather have this.. even as a bard, i do tend to take my share of damage (usually from AOE while buffing melee songs) so the HP hit is not appreciated >_< also of note, is that this is many levels lower than gold hairpin, so would be a bigger benefit to more jobs for a longer time ^^
not to mention, its just coooOOoolll to be wearing stuff that no one else has ever seen XD

Dropped of a NM on the Manaclipper, named Zoredonite. We had a full party of mostly 70+, so it was hard to judge its difficulty.

I need a new piece of head equipment, I'm sick of merc captains headgear and padded cap and red cap aren't that much better.

i would be eccstatic to get my hands on this, since i am a hume bard and MP always seems to be lacking.. actually carry around a staff just so i have enough MP to raise >< i'd be much happier tho to sell the staff and get one of these to switch in, now can anyone tell us how/where to get it? T_T
edit: i now have enough MP to raise without carrying around the damn staff :P but i still want this >< since i rarely get any resists, i would be happy to switch out my Noble's Ribbon for it ^^ heck, if i can get at least 250MP i think i could probably even handle main-healing duties when required (double ballad is lovely :3) currently have 162MP so between this and the other no-info piece of equip (Magical Mitts, lvl56, DEF:16 MP+20 HP+20) that would get me well on my way there ^_^
