Regain Feather  

There are 6 Luminant spawn points, 2 happen to be close to the base of parradamo tor hill...
If you find them the only way you're getting up there in time is if you attempt to flee up the hill 300x in a row til you get it down perfect... i mean perfect, without bumping a wall, slowing down, etc. i suggest wearing thf af boots, and bringing a herme's quencher with you. you can get up there in 60 seconds if you do it flawlesly, and face it, if you try it enough you're gonna eventually get a perfect run and not hit any miasma... this is in no way impossible just very hard and you gotta be very bored to do it. movement speed +12% isn't gonna do crap for you, so don't bother unless you can find 2 bards who don't mind being bored wasting their time for you to get an item.

You have to do this as a thf if you go alone, you need flee duration+ and a herme's quencher.. powder boots recast 10m and you can't make a macro to use them, but i've done it with just flee, (no duration+) and herme's and made it up with 1 miasma wall, and hit the sides a couple times (i did good) and it still took me about 2.5 mins and flee wore off like 45 seconds before i got up to the cradle of rebirth.. With flee duration+ i used flee, hit 2 miasma walls, bloched up a ton on the sides, by the time i got like 5 steps from the cradle of rebirth the herme's quencher just wore off and i got the item.

Ive only done this once so far and I did it by...

Job: Lv75 NIN/THF
Stuff Needed: Lv75 BRD Partner, NIN AF Boots (Maybe another way? Strider Boots/WLegs etc...), Powder Boots or Hermes Quencher.

1. Get the Luminant to spawn at the location closest to route up as possible.

2. Have a bard waiting in party on the bottom of the path where the route goes up.

3. Stand by the Luminant.

4. Hit /ja Flee.

5. Examine the Luminant for your stone.

6. Run past the BRD onto the route and get Mazurka as you fly by him.

7. Don't fall off!

8. Use Powder Boots or Hermes Quencher when flee wears off.

9. Don't fall off!

If you don't fall off and you don't hit any of the Miasma Filters for too long (more then 5 seconds is bad) you should be able to do this. Try a few practice runs without examining the Luminant before you try it for real so you know your path down to a "T".

Also just as a side note, I believe the first fade doesn't wear off until 1min 30sec because I don't think I got to the top in under 1 minute ever! However if you use the method above you should be able to get at least a Rebirth Feather if you make a small mistake or get caught by a filter for too long as you have until about 2.5mins to get it which isn't too difficult.

There definitly a hierarchy of which feather takes how much time.

The stone fades 4 times before it disapears.
0 fades = you get a regain feather (hp/mp/tp)
1 fade = you get a rebirth feather (reraise3)
2 fades = you get revive feather (reraise1)
3 fades = you get fire feather (enfire)
4 fades = you get blaze feather (blaze spikes)
5 fades = mimeo stone disapears and you dont get anything

I tested this, because i got regain feather before anything else, without any fades.

2nd time i got up, with no fades, and it said "You cannot obtain another regain feather." so i waited, and eventually it said "the mimeo stone starts to fade away", and i clicked the cradle again, and i got rebirth feather.

i did this again, and after "you cannot obtain another rebirth feather" i got revive feather

So yes, you can hold all 5 feathers at the same time, after you use a feather (only tested with regain so far) you have to wait 2 hours before using another medicine.

There are 6 pops of luminent, scattered around the mountain. The 1st time that I did it, i went down again, and luminent was up right away. The other times it has taken a long time for it to repop. I suspect either its a random repop time, or that it pops at a certain time during the day, i tested 0:00, but it wasn't up.

Judging by the posts, It appears that when you take the "Mimeo Stone" that you get from the Luminent to the top of the Tor (Cradle of Rebirth). You may receive one of the following items. There is no solid evidence to suggest that the reward is time based. My theory at the time of posting is that you receive a random feather after completing (needs testing).

Blaze Feather -Blaze Spikes
Fire Feather -Enfire
Revive feather -Reraise
Rebirth Feather -Reraise III
Regain Feather -HP/MP/TP

holy freaking crap! That's amazing... i want one of those! As a SAM this would be AMAZING! 2hr, use up all 300% TP, then use this, and use up that 300% TP, hopefully the 2hr effect will last long enough to get 6 WS in.
