I would also recommend trying the fight out once just to see how you'll stand up. He goes down easy, but can hit pretty hard and has tough abilities. Can't hurt since you don't lose any xp anymore.

This doesn't do any damage. When used, it prevents the Snoll Tzar from expanding for exactly 15 seconds. With the fight only being 45s (It'll explode, do damage, and eject you from the BC with a powerful Frost after that), you need as much time as you can get. The salts are Ra/Ex, but the cores are not, so get as many people in your party one of these as possible.

This is for the PM5-3 (Three Paths) Snoll Tzar BC, it will stop the bomb from expanding for 30 sec, i believe it will explode when it has expanded 3? times.
This dosent *kill* the mob, but if you trade it to one, it takes about 200~ damage (according to a wandering BLM in my LS that experimented with it)

Starting area: Uleguerand Range
Find Buffalostalker Dodzbraz at around F-9 in a cave that is in the north west corner of the first area where buffalos are at.
He will ask for 2 Cluster cores in exchange for something to help you against snolls. I got Cluster cores in lufaise meadows off bomb clusters.
He will give you this salt for finishing quest. It is Rare/Ex and he says it will melt a snoll but i have not tried it yet.
Quest is repeatable.
