I am level 51. Can I take on the treant solo? I just got this quest, so I am not sure. The forger thing I should be able to since it's only level 30-35. Thanks in advance!

Someone in my ls told me they had dropped theirs long ago and got it back just fine, since I did not want the item yet I dropped it. The NPC is now asking me for 2 gold ores and 1 platinum ore just to get the sprig back...
On my server atm that is almost 80k...

I did the same thing xD Its been 2 years and I still didn't unlock SAM >.>;

After you get the Samurai Quest, talk to Ranemaud in Norg and he'll give you this.
Go to the GIGANTIC tree in the Sanctuary of Zi'Tah (Some high-level friends can help you with this) and get a group of people to come help you. Trade a Hatchet to the ??? at the giant tree and a Guardian Treant will appear. Have your HL friends gang up on the Guardian Treant and kill it, then trade trade the hatchet to the ???. You'll get a Sacred Log. (I might be slightly inaccurate but those are along the lines of how to do it.)
Now just do the Forger part of the quest and you're all done. Good luck!

you get them from npc in serpents grotto ...near khazam...level 30....
