Same on Unicorn... it's sick. The fact that Nins can use them better than Ochiudo's does -not- warrant a 1.5 million price difference. Hell, sometimes us monks get hit, too. I could use that evasion...
Um, mnk can use these too, as well as sam. It's not just that nin can use them because they don't have an evasion penalty that puts the price higher than O.kote, it's the lack of evasion penalty period. Around lvl 34, mnk and sam are both still viable backup tanks. I even ad a PT in crawler's nest as drk where a mnk was the main tank, we were at least 35 because I had absorb-VIT, and we were still getting chain 4's and the odd chain 5. Me using VIT and acid bolts and the rng using acid's and holy's made that viable, but I'm sure the mnk would have appreciated being able to wear these gloves, as I assume he traded in the O.kote for safer tanking gloves.

Damn! you got me beat o.O On hades O. kote just dropped from 1.6mil to 1.1mil and Horomusha last I checked was 2.5mil maybe a little more.
If you can't buy the Ochiudo Kote for more, buy this for like 10,000 less. It's still something you CAN live without. Oh and don't bother thinking "I'll camp Boroka" he has enough people on him the way it is.

These are the perfect gloves for ninja from 34 to arhat's or rasetsu. I paid 1.5mil for them and sold off my ochiudo's for 800K... I'll trade 5 attack for 5 evasion any day.
This is a drop from an NM Hippogryph in Riverne - Site #B01. You cannot even get access to this place unless you are on Chains of Promathia Chapter 4. Therefore, because there are so few people that have actually gotten this far...those that have farmed them and sold them have gotten what they earned. 1.5 million on other servers...2 million gil on Cerberus.
Alright, if these are quested, then SE did do something right. Rather than having to compete with 10 other people camping the Ochiudo Kote, you can just quest for it. Those who need it will use it, those who want it will do the quest or shell out the money.
On Bahamut... the first AHed pair sold for 15 million. o.0

Why must everyone constantly whine about how SE screws everything up? SE has NOTHING to do with the cost of these. The cost is a reflection of the fact that nobody has bothered to complete the CoP missions, which is sad because they are awesome. These kote are still extremely rare at this point, but I can guarantee you they will drop. It's not SE who's ******** things up btw, it's the people who are willing to pay this much for an item. But such is the way of things, get off your lazy asses and do the CoP missions. They are worth it in and of themselves, but being able to camp for items like these on your own is obviously an added benefit.

These are the quotes that I was replying to. People who want to complain because they can't easily get a shiny new replacement for the O. kote for like 50k off the Jeuno AH.

I meant "quest" for them as in do the CoP quests or you wouldn't have access to the NM in the first place.
Sorry if you took it as "bashing," I am just tired of people saying how worthless the last update when they have no idea what they're talking about. I guess I will save my sarcasm for places where I am better known.

this was very good of SE to do, now ochuidos will be in competition with these kotes, and prices will be competing. Hopefull ochuidos will drop in price soon.
That's lame... if you had the money, why not just buy Ochiudo's Kote? (Unless you're a Ninja of course.)

Anyone have any clue how to get these? I've seen them in people's bazaars consistently for 1.8 million gil. I don't think that's accurate.
Dropped from some HNM, and the price IS accurate. Perfect for NIN
