Is it just me but cant you only have 1 kind of damage in effect at a time. Seems to me that this was the reson they stop us from enspelling everything we can. Im a noob so correct me if im wrong.
I *might* take a chance on one for my BRD. I don't get to melee much and, when I do, it might be nice to pop off one of the 30 charges and get fire damage added each time.
*Might*, that is, if it's cheap enough. Otherwise, meh. It's not like my PTs look to me for melee damage.

I'm afraid that I disagree with your opinion that this sword is great for a lvl40 RDM. There are swords at that level that to similar/better damage and have much nicer enhancements:
The buzzard tuck enhancing RDM's sword magic and their AF1 (Fencing Deegan) and int/mnd/ and MP.

I agree! This sword is no use for a rdm. Why a rdm need a sword with fire Damage and Enchantment: Enfire if we can cast enspell on our weapon?
I don't think there'll be any rdm who buy this sword. I think it'll be better for a brd/nin =)

this sword is great for a red mage. with the enfire enchantment and fire dmg as an additional effect, this would be great in a pt going against any monster that is week against fire
so all lvl 40 red mages have fun with this sword!!
