ok this may have already been posted but im too lazy to read all the others but think about this ...example... say ur in a bc and wipe but still have 20mins left and u know u can win .. now if ur whm had RR u can shed time by usin the rod every 30sec instead waitin for raise to be rdy while weakened... not to mention u wont have mp hardly when ur weakend.. .. that was just example so here something ive actually experienced... i was lvlin in bibiki bay we were like um pld mnk rng smn blm rdm for some reason the rng links 5 we wipe theres a whm in pt next thats gonna raise us he had the rod so he done raise2 raise3 rod rod raise2 raise3 shavin alot of time from waiting on timer...i my self if could ever find in stock would buy one of these and i have a 75whm ...

I just bought one for 100k. I plan to use it for when **** reeeeally hits the fan. I was really mad after my shell leader made me go try to raise somebody that died getting a curtana in sky. There is NO safe place to cast. So I died, then reraised and died again because a detector came back while I wasnt looking and got me with my reraise down. More shell people came to get me, but I ended up with an R1. Hopefully I will never be without this item, and that after 20 charges another one is available.

The way I see it, with every charge I make a new friend, because they ****** up really bad and died in a dumb place.

if i'm not mitaken Raise II is lvl 58 no? this would allow a whm to raise II party members 2 lvls before time? Its just as useless as a signet staff but how many people use those? hundreds :X

Raise II is level 56. The only reason I could see for using this would be in an emergency...

The only 2 uses I see for this club are:
1) No magic aggro when a raise is needed in a dangerous area.
2) A whm can cast Raise II, and then quickly use this club to perform another Raise II and/or Raise III. This is important during Dynamis or another situation where many people have died and the whms need to raise everyone quickly or when the whm is weakened and has a 3-4 min cooldown on Raise II or Raise III.

The recast on all Raises 1-3 is 1 minute. While weakened it's doubled to 2 minutes, not 3-4, but still very long.

I dont see the point in this rod. In my opinion its a waste of money. Yes it enhances your Raise II, but to what extent. 20. Psh give me a break. Can you recharge it? I dont recommend anyone to buy this.

I know a lot of you said this is for Dynamis or for casting near mobs that aggro to magic, but it's going to be only for the rich.

Raise II - b/t 60k and 150k
Raise II Rod - b/t 3mil and ...

It's just not worth it. Raise I in Dynamis, and pity the fool who dies near magic aggroing mobs... jk

But yeah, it's going to be WAY too expensive.

I would only ever see this used in something like a Dynamis rod because it would most likely be just too expensive to use casually in a party to save MP.

If a WHM's were expected to start carrying these to just raise random people I could easily see them charge for having to use a charge on their rod.

I think this can be very useful. As Tordengud said, raising in magic aggro areas wouldn't be nearly as tricky anymore. Plus, in times that Raising fast be rather useful or necessary, this rod can let you Raise II twice in a row before resting (as most later levels won't want Raise I). Coupled with a high enough WHM, you can fire off a Raise II, Raise II, Raise III one right after the other for much quicker recovery.

It's pointless, it'll be the same amount gil-wise as Raise II. Just buy Raise II, it might be useful for Dynamis or something to save some MP, as someone else said, but at 56, I don't think it's worth it.

This is a great item. WHM can now raise next to mob's that aggro magic by using the rod. Only thing i wonder is if they can raise while sneaked?

Now as far as a time saver when the WHM is the only member left standing now that I can see. But due ot the lack of RERAISE being its ability I stick with my first statement that this is not meant for "dire times".

So.... what's the point other than the +4 MND? Yeah, it'll save the WHM some MP, but isn't WHM the only job that can have Raise II, and the WHM gets Raise II at level 56, the same level as this rod...

my guess, multiple recasts ((recast time 1 min.)) for Dynamis raids or other such opportunites for frequent deaths after an AOE
