I noticed something,
there is a Quadav NM in Pashow, a Yagudo NM in Meriphatuad, and an Orc NM in Jugner
Each drop an item that has an effect wether you are in a zone your nation is control of, and they all are Rare/Ex
whats stranger, they can all be used at 30...
EVEN odder, Pashow, Meriphatuad,Jugner, these places are were you go to Ballista, and if thats not freaky, tell me what is...

It's not freaky... it's SE trying to balance the game out. They put each NM in each zone for the three nations. It's like this: Each home nation has the starting area (Saruta, Ronfaure, Gusta), and two NMs per zone. The patch ... in August of 2005(I think?) put in equal amounts of NMs in each of these areas. Ronfaure East had Swamfisk (lvl 10 Gelong Staff), and West had the Fungus beetle (lvl 9 Clipeus). Saruta East had Sharp-Eared Ropipi (lvl 11 Entrancing Ribbon), and West had Nunyenunc (lvl 10 Pilgrim's Wand). Gusta South had Carnero (lvl 10 Katayama), and North had Maighdaen Uaine (lvl 10 Optical Earring-- spelling on that one, methinks.) La Theine had Nihniknoovi (lvl 14 Van Pendant), Konschtat had the two lvl 15 Rogetsurin NMs, Haty and Bendegeit Vran, and Tahrongi had the lvl 15 Fasting Ring NM, Yara Ma Yha Who. They're all respective to their areas...

They are all 100% drop, besides the mid-Jeuno areas like Jugner, Passhow, and Meriphataud.. and a lot of them are incredibly useful. Especially the Gelong Staff, which I still use on my MNK....

This axe was prolly made for Ballista, think about DRK and WAR in ballista at 30, most use Marksmanship, and if they sub nin its not a bad offhand axe for 30 Cap imo...and Since it drops in Jugner Forest, 1/3 Ballista Areas, i bet thats what it was made for

Simpy put, this axe is garbage. It isn't as good melee wise as the other axes around this level, and it sucks for RNGs compared to Archer's Knives, which are way way way way better.
