You will need help when you try and complete the quest. 3 Moblin NM and 4 Bugbear's spawn when you examine the iron box. They proceeded to whoop me, some hitting for 100, and some hitting for 200+. So you might need a few 65-70+ friends to help you.
Took us about 16 75's and we had 4 die I think... not a easy fight at all

Hmmm... I wonder, would a Thief be able to {Hide} from the NM's and pull one at a time or do these NM's have true sight?
What are the Minimun requirements needed to craft this item?
The NPCs tell you that you need to find an "Adept" in Leathercraft, which is someone who is 80+.
im 97.1+3 leathercraft, and have yet to get a +1 animation while making one.. yea, i know they cant +1, but they can still show the animation. given the need for buffalo leather in the initial quest for the goblin cuttings, and buffalo leather being used in lvl 89-91 leathercraft synths, i would assume that lvl 88-92 leathercraft is needed. smithing most likely mid 30's, and clothcraft around 45.
this is just an educated guess, but its the best i can come up with... ive made ~25 of these and havent had the +1 animation yet.. ive made 4 orc helms, and +1 animation twice so far.

If anyone on Carbuncle could craft this for me I would really appreciate it I have the cutting and the rest of the ingredients~

I have to agree with some of the other posters saying that this isnt' all that good of equipment (unless "Dice" deals a huge amount of damage).
Nonetheless has anyone noticed any hidden effects when wearing the helm? Less Aggro by gobs? Added effect when eating Goblin food?
It's doubtful but not unheard of.

Al lit does is call the gobbie, he does "Dice" then dissapears
The helmets are worthless. Remember when Trader gear sold for millions? This is same thing, a expensive fad to get a few examines, maybe a /tell

It would not let me make the headgear at Leather 89 CC 29 Smithing 15, I'm sure due to the low subs.

there must be some kind of fame requirement to get this? i zoned into oldtown movo and didnt get the cutscene.
well i figured i would try the fame theory and go to davoi where sandy fame would prevail. i have enough fame in sandy to get avatars so i know its plenty, however, still no cutscene

Did you zone into the right part? It's the entrance farthest east in North Gustaberg.

I was kind of hoping that these beastmen hats were going to be for lower levels... but once again, SE introduces yet another reason why you should play the game even LONGER to enjoy it to it's fullest. Let's just hope the Fellowship quest won't have a crazy level limit.

You have to go to the most eastern entrance of Oldton Movapolos in North Gustaberg (K-6). There you get a quest from a Quadav Gu'Zho the Thunderblade. Next, go to the Leather guild in South San d'Oria and trade the guild master a Buffalo Hide, Sheep Leather and 20000Gil. At 0:00 it is possible to get a recipie for Goblin Coif and Goblin Cutting. Then you have to have someone synth the coif for you. The inredients ares: Goblin Cutting
Steel Sheet
Linen Cloth
Artificial Lens x2
Moblin Thread
Undead Skin
Sheep Leather
To finish the quest, equip the Goblin Coif and go to (G-8) of Oldton Movapolos and some NMs appear.

that is the order I got it...
Gobling coif cutting is rewarded after waiting 1 day from the guild master

heh i was hoping we could use bomb toss a few times =P or goblin rush..or hidden effect:lets u hold the goblin grenade >.> i would trade happy egg's 14 hp for STR in throwing anyday
