I finally got the Bounding Boots after about 9 hours worth of camping. The first 6 hours there were maybe 2 other people camping as well and I was never at the right place at the right time...then the last 3 hours I was the only one! Just walked up and killed him! I'm 1/1 on Leaping Lizzy! (very lucky)I just hope I have the same luck on the VE! ; ;
By the way...I used my lvl 20THF/5RNG on Seraph.

I was 2/12 pre patch so maybe I'm due 1 next kill ;)
Then again I have the worst NM luck!
Update: OK I just got really good luck for a change >_>
Went to camp lizzy again - missed the pop so I figured I'd stay the 20mins in case she repoped. She did, ran down claimed and this time tried something different - I'm 90% sure it was pure chance, but I unequipped my fransisca and hand-to-handed lizzy and it dropped!! 1/6 now.
That was just the start though - straight after that I outpost warped to Valkurm and claimed the Emperor! He was out with noone camping :) Tried the same hand-to-hand method and got the Empress Hairpin! Took ages at 7 dmg a hit lol
Now I'm the first to admit that the hand-to-hand thing is so unlikely to mean anything so I guess this post is meant to say if you're having bad luck, keep at it and good luck should find you eventually!

well the update has been done for a while and i havent had a chance to try LL out in a while and im lving DRG now so im like hey... i wonder is leaping lizzy's drop rate is any better... so i take the airship to bastok and head out camping... i was there for like 30 mins killing lizzards left and right making my runs around the o' spawn when i see a rock lizard... and im like Thats no regular rock lizard thats... LEAPING LIZZY so i here the sound of flee and i start spamming Chi blast... i get the claim and hit it w/ a one, two punch then i raging fisted her for the kill... "Leorance defeats Leaping Lizzy. You find a pair of [/Green] Bounding Boots[Black] on the Leaping Lizzy. Leorances obtains the [/Green] Bounding Boots[Black]." ......... **** YEAH *********** I;m 1/1 since the update now and can hapily use these w/ my SAM, DRG, THF, WAR,DRK, etc.
Jeez SE maybe your nice after all.....

finally got the drop..now i can retire from LL and move on to HNM's. i am 7/45 with no TH.
Hopefully these buggers will drop alot more often then the leaping boots do, I'm about 30 kills an no drops, its bloody ridiculous if you aske me, or perhaps I am just this unlucky, I'm leveling thief now, I hope my luck will improve lol.

Ok, Lizzy can now spawn anywhere between 20 minutes to 3 and 1/2 hours, in 20 minute intervals. Basically, when there is little to no Rock Lizzards arround when its one of the 20 minute intervals, it is almost sure to pop.
This is my observations. I spent 14 hours straigh camping this thing, and didn't get a single drop.

I never knew she could spawn so fast, it literally freaked me out when I saw it...
Killed her at 12:33, about 10 minutes later she spawned again, but due to unexpected and extremely retarded circumstances, she got killed by some other THF ; ; at 12:42... *sigh* Lizzy hates me. -.-

You are extremely close^^, the interval is about 5 mins to 6 hrs in my experience with most of the pops coming around the 1.5-2 hr mark, and its not every 20 mins because if you kill a rock lizard, it will respawn in 5 mins after death, and since they are the placeholders for LL, then she might pop in their place. Wow 14 hrs, i spent two whole days camping her lol, that was before the patch. Well gl i hope you get the drop and i hope this info helps anyone whos heading to camp LL.

I know this probably won't help anybody but so far im 0/3 on these without using TH. Also for the spawn time, not sure if its any different but when i camped him he seemed to spawn around every 45 minutes or so.
Ok. Leaping Boots dont drop off Leaping lizzy anymore. Same can be said about Emp pin, Peacock Charm and Archer Ring. Those are all moved in BCNMs and you have these NEW items taking place.
I nailed that in the idiots camping leaping lizzy 2 days ago, today I came for my boots. Checked search, 70 people in area, all scooping. I saw lizzy, casually strolled up to him, Sneak Sttack, hit him, drug him to the scoopers n finished him in front of them and got Bounding boots.

these are gunna be great to get for my drg when i start lving that again.... but u all say that lea[ing boots price is gunna drop? theres no way the leaping boots price is gunna drop if people want the l;eapinmg boots because they have had no luck at these and are going to buy the leaping boots... they are going to be more because its going to be harder to get them and if its a BCNM the people that get the leaping boots drop are doing to have to use there beastmen seals to get them therefore RAISING the price of leaping boots.
P.S. If u think i am wrong feel free to bash me, although i wont care if u do. This is also coming from Fairy server i dont know what ur servers are going to be like...

this really just depends on what
BCNM they drop from, more then likely the ones they are in are BCNM20 30 or 40, it makes sense to have them in 20 and 30, if they are, price will go down, but, in 40, it does not make sense, price will probably go up, the more orbs you spend, the more the price will be

Your right the fact that this is a R/ex will not stop all the camping of lizzie what it will do though is stop the gil sellers from getting the leapping boots witch this is replacing from what it seems *please do not quote me on that as I do not know if the leaping boots are no longer droping or are still going to drop* and will hopfuly get prices to start going down as people will not be tring to make a living off gill sales I for one welcome the r/ex items as hopfuly they will continue to make more of them and replace some of the more costy items and hopfuly drive out the botters and gilsellers

So does everyone want to talk about the price of leaping boots now? go up? go down? stay the same? I think leaping boots prices are going to go way down. Becuase anyone that wants leaping boots can go camp these easily (after the first rush passes).

i think leaping boots is gonna go up since its used to make Winged Boots, quite the money maker on asura :/ emp pin on the other hand fell from 1.7 mil to 1mil in just 1 day prolly still falling

emp hairpin dropped from almost 1 mil to 200k on unicorn server over night. i havent checked leaping boots yet but im pretty sure the same happend. probably the sudden rush scare thing.

My only question is if these boots can be crafted... Before the update I had several people wanting me to make them Winged Boots when I got up in lvl in Leathercrafting..

That means that you can still aquire and craft Winged boots with leeping boots. However, you have to first find where leaping boots are dropped as of now because leeping lizzy doesn't drop them anymore and what he DOES drop is not craftable into winged boots
The problem is that even if they can be upgraded, the crafter will have to camp them themselves since the boots are R/E
hmmm. so if these were craftable into winged boots we could end up having crafters camping these instead...
My main question is: Can these boots be upgraded as well? If so, of course a rare/ex item. Maybe something like Feathered Boots instead of Winged Boots.
i just hope the gil sellers don't move into my farming area of giddeus... it's got plenty of NMs that drop nice things... and good drops for lowlevel weavers and goldsmiths

As I heard about, the Leaping Boots, Emperor Hairpin and Peacock Charm will drop by BCNM in the future.

This was apart of the last big update to stop gilselling. I Heard these replace leaping boots but leap boots are just extremely rare if not dropped of another mob or recieved any other way.
Heard same change has been made to Argus with Peacock charm and Valkurm emporer and it's hairpin. on Odin Hairpin and leapboots both go for 800k-880k ish
