about a year ago i used to camp these vs GS when drop was Archers ring, over the corse of about 2 - 3 months of camping now and then i went about 0/150..
So they changed drop to ex now, and i know they suck, only reason they were expensive before was due to over GS camping and the fact that you synthed snipers rings from them. Now only use i see is maybe promys for rng.
So! i decided i'd try my luck at these again, this time i brought TH2. While waiting on morbolger i killed 4 of these, got 1/4 on 4th kill as well as 2 slime oils, killed 5 more, got 2/9 on 9th kill, why couldn't i get droprate like this on archers? ; ;
anyways so far im at 2/9 i stopped killing them as having 3 is kinda useless >.> maybe i could npc sell it! lol i don't know how much npc pay i'm sure it's extremely low though.
btw i used to fight these as 45war when i got 0/150+ with not much of a problem,
this time i fought them as THF56/NIN27 without ever getting hit

1/1 =p Tossed it when i realized you cant make sniper's from these drops any longer.

0/32 so far, gonna carry on till i log for the night. Dont even especially need this F'er so i dont know why i am wasting my time on it lol. Be a relief if i ever get one \O.o/

I just went 1/72 on this thing as a 69TH/34NIN. Took me about 5hours of farming to get it, but imho, it's better than Venerer for the Ranged Accuracy+2.

lol your one and two cause noone camps this mob anymore imagine when they were archers you might be even 0/2 in a month

Should be able to with your npc....at full hp/mp with no buffs I was able to survive em one at a time as a 40drk/20war. Had to drain a few times though.
just got this drop on my fifth kill, third kill of the day after moving to another area away from the stropers.

It only used the ability Digest when I killed it.

I stopped counting around 0/80.
I am now around 0/110 with this guy. All with TH1, while farming malboro vines. Still havent recieved it.

Just went 1/6 on this drop with TH2. When I did get the drop it was full moon Windsday. Trying to get another 0/3 at this point.

Well just visited Ordelle's Cave for defeating the Metal Slime for the NPC Quest and I thought: "Hey, why not trying to get a chest key?" So I went trough the caves and found a Stroper Chyme so I attacked it and...Drop! It was the first Chyme I killed :)
Killed some after this one for my chest key, but no drop anymore so 1/4 atm

Well i dont know how i did it, but after getting my treasure chest for rse i decided to camp and went 2/5 on this ring, so i called that a day and now i got two new rings for my lvl 30 drg

most of you guys have gotten extremely lucky in my opinion. id love to be 1/61. as it stands now. im 0/183.. and starting to not like this farming method anymore. might be easier to actually farm 1.8 million gil to buy a snipers ring then to get drop off of this mob
1/1 on it. i was looking for ordelles key. saw it. i casted banish to bring it down from the upper lvl. i was down at G-11, so it also pops there. shikaree ring seems kinda useless to me. but i'll keep it for a bit anyways.
