Why does it matter if the picture is fake? A fake map leading to a real treasure still yields the desired result. This is a real GKT with real kick-*** potiental. Stop worrying about the vallitaty of the pic, and start figuring out how to get the latent ;-)
(And for the record, MysteryTour's info has Strength spelled out.)

Why's STR spelled out on this weapon?
Cause it's a fake pic. Strength is never spelled out, it's always abbreviated to STR.

You can tell its a fake also by the faint blur around the text as a result of poor blending.

I dunno... sometimes the paint program blurs the edges a bit, especially with white on a darker bg. it's quite likely that it's just blurred because of the name that was added to it. possible, don'tcha think? >.>
I wonder if this would be better than Hagun for an endgame (besids Relic) Great Katana. 9 more damage, Store TP, and 8 str and dex (dont know how to kick in the str). I wonder where you get this.

I heard that the Latent Effect was activated when using WS so if this istrue, this will be uber when using with sam/thf
I believe the current picture to be a fake. The stats are correct, but I think someone put this picture together. There are a couple reasons I think so:
1) ffxi.cannotlinkto has this sword up on their site, with a different picture for the weapon's little icon. And I believe their picture is correct and this one incorrect, because I saw a sword in the model viewer the other day, unknown name, that looked very similar to it. Blue handle in a design like the relic GKT. http://ffxi.cannotlinkto/itemdb/6961
2) The crappy quality doesn't lend it any credibility.
3) As was pointed out, stats are never, ever spelled out. At least as far as I know, nothing ever says "Strength +8." It should be "STR+8."
4) Store TP+8 is an error, as well. On other items that increase the store tp trait, the phrase "Store TP" is always in quotation marks. See here. This sword should read: "Store TP" +8.
Otherwise, though, the stats are correct, and this is an absolutely incredible sword. Just wanted to point out, to all the people who might be disappointed when they see yet another butcher knife GKT, that I don't think that's what the FNM really looks like.
Anyway, commence the drooling!

Like I said, show boating drama queen. Otaku is the same person on Odin who claims his girlfriend logged into his account after she caught him with her two best friends in bed, and deleveled his character from 74 to 43 before a GM put him in jail.
This happening a couple days after he says he's quitting and moving on. And his attempts at trying to make it look real posting on Odin's forum on KI failed miserably (lack of consistancy).

I wouldn't doubt it. Otaku recently made himself known to be a showboating drama queen.
This Picture IS FAKE, if you have a english modeler its Unknown GK #6 I believe. Its a green and gold GK. The pic is on somepage.

One was the aforementioned bigass green handled sword. Kinda crazy looking, I want it!
A second was a straight-bladed (like onikiri or kazaridachi) sword with a blue handle similar to the relic's.
Based on somepage's picture, I thought the second was the futsuno mitama. Either way, there are 2 unidentified gkts, here. One is the FNM, what is the other?

Wow! I... I want that sword! Well, i guess it depends on how the Latent Effect is activated (if it's 100%+ TP then thats incredible!). Something i'm curious about though is why is Strenght spelled out? Now that i think about it, no where in the entire game are any of the stats actually spelled out, it's always STR, DEX, VIT, etc. So it's wierd that this one item does it. Mistake, maybe? Or could there be something to that?
