My wife was skilling up clothcraft on these and got a 0.1 leather skillup on a break when her leathercraft was 17, so I guess that narrows the cap range to 20-22.

Attempted with 19 Leather and got a 0.1 skillup on a break. That means the leather cap is 20-24, since you can only skillup on a failure within 5 of cap.

lvling clothcraft

Ok, so it seems like if your lucky enough you can buzz through 58-68 making crow's armor, but the question is what is the subcraft lv that you need for leather craft?? Sheep leather is a pretty low crafting item, but I'm sure it's at least 20-30 that you need. If anyone knows, please make a post, cause this might be the only way of get to 70 w/o dropping 1mil on silk threads. ><
Another possibility.

Dragoon. At the moment, I'm not rich enough to buy a Valk mask(working on crafting, I'll get there before I break G1) or fortunate enough to know someone powerful and generous enough to camp it and hand over that nearly 800k item. The price of Valk Mask has doubled on Cerberus in the past 2 months,

However, till then all I really have access to is Mecr. Cptn. Headgear which I use for it's Dex and Str bonus.....but I'm thinking, maybe untill I get the Mask, this might be a better option? Super Jump has a 5 minute timer, and it's a Drg's only 'OH ****' button, we have no 2hr to save our butts in case of emergency. But with this hat, I won't pull hate off anyone. Sure I'll miss that Str and Dex bonus, but they were small anways.

Thoughts?
new monk gear?

too me, it looks like this gear aimed towards monks and beastmasters. the -enmity would allow both classes to go more all out without taking hits, allowing the pets/tank to keep hate. the evasion seems to go nicely with dodge

don't forget thf after they pull they don't want hate for snta. and i mainley use thes for farming i mean with full raven gear you get 26 env with thf subed aney thing will lucky if it can hit you

While I haven't personally tested it a good friend of mine said it wasn't very good for bst. It seemed most of the enmity minus transferred to his pet.
woops

hm.. scratch what i said.. i just submitted pics of each crow and raven item and aparantly the Beret actually is eva+4 and enmity -7, my mistake
corrects stats
# Oct 12 2005 at 8:12 AM Rating: Decent
it's -4 enmity and +4 Eva. all the Crow peices have an even amount of +eva and -enmity on each peice.
Fighter's Mask? Um, no.....

That can't possibly be correct. If it was, then it wouldn't be going so cheap.

There's no way that a crow beret uses a piece of AF armor.

hmmmmmmm. what use is - Enmity for a pld?yeah EVA+ could be useful, but its not worth sacrificing much needed enmity. its hard enough for us pld to keep the hate as it is. sorry for the rambling there its just lately it seems SE are just making equipment and then sticking any job on it and saying hey look, new equip for such and such jobs.

Then *gasp* don't use it. Paladins can equip the Horror Head, too. They just don't have to wear it.
