lol I wouldn't be proud or caught dead public wearing a hooded tunic texture straight out of Valkrum Dunes catalog 2003.

I submitted a photo of the stats and the fashion shot over a week ago to the address listed here. Don't know why they aren't up?

I was just curious if for enchantments if you could have multiple ones or if you can enchant, then de-equip. Just curious, it might give me ideas though. I know it works for the new EXP bands though at least.

It appears that people are confusing enhancements with equipment's normal and latent effects.
With an enhancement, you use it and it gives you a status effect like protect, ballad, etc. You do not need to keep the equipment equiped to keep the status effect, just like you do not need to constantly cast a spell to keep it's effect.
With equipment's normal and latent effects, the effect is directly tied to the equipment. Therefor you need to keep it equiped to gain the benifiets. For example, the dex bonus off balance rings.

About the xp bands. Even if the gate guards would let you buy both, you could not use them both at the same time because they both give the same icon in the status effect tray. I'm sure it's said in the bands' threads, but since it was brought up here I'll say it again. You can only buy 1 band per conquest period. If you have either band, you can not buy another band. You can only recharge 1 band per conquest period. SE thought about how they wanted them used, and then did something they haven't done before. They thought about how players would miss use them, and did something before hand to prevent it.

actually, no, not all enchanments last when you unequip. for example, the spirit lantern: if you use it, you get a sort of magic attack bonus, but if you switch back to say a sweet satchet or tathlum, then the enchanment immediately wears off. enchanments like "recover mp" however are like a potion and you won't lose the recovered amount...on the other hand SS torques, reraise pins, blink bands: those all stay. so there's 3 types of enchamnents i guess "spells" (usually enhancing stuff), "special attributes" (that work only when item is equipped), and recovery. and actually, i'm almost positive weapons that have "enchanment: enfire" will not keep you enfired if you switch to another weapon. i don't even know why i'm explaining all this...it's 5AM and i'm having toc reinstrall teh game and bored :P

No, I knew that. I know the difference between latent effect and enchantment. I was just curious if you could use those new belts they came out with, and then switch them out and maybe (or not) use another enchantment and not have it replaced and whatnot. I hear from alot of high levels that you can't even use the enchantment on some pieces of equipment and de-equip them (Obviously with the rings this is now the case). I just want to know so I can use this to my advantage in my Maat fight >=3

How can it work with the exp band if it's rare/ex? You can only have one.
