Used this today on my Tarutaru mule. He's level 47 Blm/25 Whm, and it raised his total HP from 605 to 635. I'm wondering if there's a cap on how much this can raise your HP?

Cap 30 @ 300 base hp and mp hp+10% and mp+10% i started making em for my pld lol

Yeah, sorry about that. I'll craft some more and try some. I can't seem to find it in AH. . . but I s'pose that's the beauty of leveling cooking ^.^
Yup; +10%, caps at 30. According to sompage it also gives 10%mp capped at 30, but I have not tried it yet and you mention nothing about that in your post.
is that how you make tofu? i should try it sometime... could i make tofu that actually tasted Worse than the normal stuff?

It doesn't require level 1 clothcraft, it is just capped for skilling up at level 1 clothcraft.
