From what I understand, the latent effect on these activates at or above 100% TP, so from what I can tell, this piece would be really effective for SAM/RNG. Other than that though, I really think the Shura Haidate would be better from a statistical point of view. If anyone has tried out both and has a preference for one over the other, can you let me know? Also, I'm kind of wondering why more SAMs don't use Byakko's Haidate for TP gain over the Shuras. That's another thing I would like to learn about. I understand that Tachi: Gekko and Tachi: Kasha are both dependant on STR, but having a hard time understanding why someone would use the Shura for TP gain over Byakko's. You gain the same amount of Accuracy, and you're not using the +STR until the WS, so you could just macro it in. Just a few questions. If anyone could get back to me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
You are right with the latent... i would say use the byakko pants for tp then switch.#1 piece of added haste to your haste set up, #2 DEX+15 which will help with crits. Even /rng use the same macros in swapping pants. Anyways hope this helps in some way... although i'm just saying pretty much what you said just in a different way.
