Mission OrdersWalkthroughYou need to retrieve a report from Davoi. Head to the Davoi and zone in and talk to the soldier behind the tree there. He tells you that the report is missing. The report is on the other side of the lake. Get it and talk to the soldier again and return to San D'Oria.

me and my brother just made it past davoi to the jesus cross where they crucified me and my brother for our pro-ness we got dat note up in the cutt and ran back with out being touched once at level 15 and 16 I am jesus reborn as a hume bow before our godlyness =D

i basically used my lvl 30 war/15 DRk ran in to the ! clicked on it and ran out only lost like 120 HP

YOu do not have to be lvl 20 to do this mission or even have a job lvl 20. I recently did this mission as a rdm no higher lvl than 15 with a silimar lvl rdm low lvl nin and a lvl 59 pld escort.
I just got this Mission for my mule. Highest job is 18, so the minimum level of 20 is totally incorrect.
To find the Report, go around the left side of the Lake, keeping close to the Lake edge. Once you get about opposite the enterence you came in, before the building, there will be a platform like area. The Report is the ??? next to the platform.

I did this with my lvl 15 or lower Rdm. I was in a party with a similar lvl rdm, low lvl nin and a lvl 59 pld. The pld was the escort. My point is that you do not have to be lvl 20 to access and complete this mission.
However, the trip to Davio is not an easy one. I would not recomend trying this mission by yourself unless your confident of your hiding and running skills. Or are high lvl. Or, lastly, can have someone escort you.

Go to Menu, then Status, then Profile. See if your Rank bar is all the way full. If not buy about 3 stacks of cheep Earth Crystals (1k for 12 atm). Give them to any T.K. Exit-the-city guard[this one S. Sandy L-10]. Then talk to any Missions Starter guard [this one S. Sandy K-10].
Get your mission. Travel to Jugnar. Map of Jugnar, points to Davoi. Travel to Davoi. Map of Davoi, points to Report.
Davoi mob levels.
Your chocobo cannot pass entrance to Davoi. Talk to NPC just inside Davoi. The gob hates you, don't talk to him. Go around the lake and touch the exclamation, under the orc cross. Talk to the NPC again! [I forgot to and had to go back].

ok ive got the "Temple Knights' Davoi Report." and was told to give to prince pjueje but i can't get in the door it says its locked tight what do i do so i can finish this mission

i hate this copy-paste mission-log (the answer is stolen from mysterytour..)
here is my version of the walktrough
1. talk to a mission-guard
2. head to Davoi (entrance is at G-12 in Jugner Forrest) and talk to Zantaviat (J-7)
3. search the "!"... it's in the south from the start-point (J-8) (key-item: Lost document)
4. talk to Zantaviant again to recieve the full report (key-item: Temple Knights' Davoi Report)
5. go back to San d'Oria and talk to a Mission-Guard (you need to do this.. you can't get the cutscene if you didn't get the hint where the prince is)
6. head to the Cathedral in northern San d'Oria to the 3rd-floor and toutch the door (Cutscene with Papsque Shamonde and Prince Pieuje)
have fun ;)

ok i got the report and i talked to the guard at the chateau and accidently told him to give to Prince Trion instead of Pieuje.... i know; i was to lazy to remember =P. So i go back to Endracion and he says: What!? i told you to hand the 'Temple Knights Davoi Report' to prince pieuje.... well you should find His Highness in the cathedral. ok so i goto the cathedral and i search everything and everyone and nothing.... help me out!

It says the minimum levels on all of these missions...is it required that you be level 20 to recieve this mission? Or is it just stupid to try it below that level?

I don't think you have to be level 20 to get this but I know you will have trouble getting to Davoi at that level. If you can get to Davoi, the place you need to go for this isn't very far inside the Davoi area. Use a prism powder or invis spell after you go down the hill from the entrance. The first little entrance area is safe as long as no one has trained any mobs there. Run straight in and you will see a lake right away. Follow the lake around the left side and on the other side is the ?? you need to check. Be careful as you will have to let invis drop to check it. If you're lucky there will be some people in the area killing everything and you will be able to just run up and check it without invis.

Alright, im lvl 20, i got the report, and i talked to the guy behind the tree afterwards, but when i got to the cathedral to find the prince, i cant get into the third floor. the door upstairs next to Eperdur doesn't even allow me to select it, is there something i did wrong?
Is there any difference in whether you read the report or not?
On the way back to the prince, I checked my Key Items for the report, and when I clicked on it, I got the option to read the report. I chose not to (on the theory that a good messenger is an ignorant messenger and thus trusted), but now I wonder if I should have read it to help in futher missions.

You will know it as it has Orc wooden barricades
on the path to Davoi,just like the path to Ghelsba outpost.
I havent done this quest myself yet either,will try this a my monk or warrior supplement job.

Just ran the Davoi gauntlet as a Lvl 1 mnk. easier than I thought, but boy Ive never felt so scared playing this game!!! Now to the castle!

I CAN'T Believe you actually survived this mission at LvL 1 without getting trampled by a herd of Orcs!!! In my opinion, you must have had some help from friends to back you up. This is INDEED a unique situation from someone such as yourself, coming from a LvL 1 player!

I just did this one (20MNK/7WAR) without any problem (unless you count the tiger that killed me the first time I was running through Junger).
I zoned into Davoi, talked to the soldier and headed to the lake front. I hit TAB until I found the "!". Running through the almost dozen ORCs agro'd them all but I ignored them, ran up to the "!", clicked on it, got the item and ran back out of the zone. I started with 419HP and got out of the zone with 209HP. Rested at zone line until full HP, back into Davoi, talk to the soldier again and then head back to home to Sandy.
By the way, the guy you need to hand this in to is on the top floor of the Cathedral. He is behind a door in the middle of the hallway. You go through a cut-sceen to hand it in. Pretty easy.

You simply don't do it.

Now, this is going to be sad to hear, but I just finished going through the majority of the mission [47WHM .. I hate ranks so much, you don't understand >_<] and had no aggro and what not.. Higher level.. But.. You know.

My dad thanks you SO VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's been stuck on this mission for like 5 months because he couldn't find the prince and he just gave up. THANK-YOU THANK-YOU THANK-YOU! You have made him so HAPPY!

Lost Invis at the last moment and got slaughtered by twenty orcs and bind.
kinna neat how the casters stay in the back and let the fighter types go into melee
kinna neat as they killed me and caused me to level down.
But now that I have my chocobo licence, i should be able to finish this no problem.

Is there any other requirements for starting this mission? I have done all the previous missions and I'm lvl20 WAR now. I don't get this mission as a choice when talking to the guard only the missions before 1.1-2.1 or "none"????

Disregard this, I think I found the answer in another thread. Giving the gateguard crystals....

It takes some patience, but this mission can be done at lvl 1. Actually, this is the best way to do it if you dont want to have to worry about dying from orcs, as you wont lose any XP.
I did it as a lvl 1 WAR...took forever for me slip by the orcs, but its possible.

I can't open the door! I have the TK report and all. But still the door is locked. I talked to the gate guard and he told me to come to the chateau and now thats were I am and I can't open the door. Why?!?!?!

I've managed to sneak into davoi, and after talking with the guy hiding behind the tree, i started to look for the missing report page.
i've searched all around the area with the small lake and the raised platform, however, i can't find that @#*$%^# page!
do i need to somehow climb that platform?
if so, then how do i get up there?
i've been killed twice, and i'm no closer to solving this thing!
where is that page?!
can anyone help...

Solo'd this at lvl 1. The paper is on the north side of the altar hill. Oddly, it was a ! not a ??? Just run around the area changing targets until you see it.

I just solo'd this at lvl 14 (im a War). I died on the way there, passing through Jugner, but luckily someone passed by and gave me a raise. As for talking to the guy, and getting the papers, that was a cinch. I dont know why the rest of you are complaining. :P
