SummaryDetermined not to let Machegue's death be in vain, Excenmille has disobeyed his father's direct orders and embarked on a solitary mission to slay the behemoth. Follow him to Jugner Forest to ensure his safety! WalkthroughCheck the Shimmering Pondweek at (G-6) in Pashhow Marshlands (S) for a cut scene. Now go to (F-10) in Jugner Forest and check the Overgrown Mushrooms for another cut scene where you will receive a Hatchet. Use the Hatchet on a logging point in the area to get a Length of Jugner Ivy. If you leave Jugner Forest (S) before you get the Length of Jugner Ivy, you will need to examine the Overgrown Mushrooms again first. Once you have the Length of Jugner Ivy, check the Overgrown Mushrooms again. Now go to the are where (F-7), (G-7), (F-8), and (G-8) meet and check the Mossy Stump for a cut scene. Check the stump again and your party will be transported to a battlefield against a Young Behemoth. Once you have defeated him, talk to Rongelouts N Distaud at (I-9) in Southern San d'Oria to complete the quest. Battle DetailsThis is a 30 minute 6 member max fight against a Young Behemoth. Buffs are not removed upon entry. If you are KO'd you will lose experience points. If you lose, you will have to get a new Length of Jugner Ivy. The Young Behemoth has about 14,000HP. His attacks have a potent Addition Effect: Lightening Damage effect. His Shock Wave attack is conical, goes through shadows, has a knock back effect, and deals up to 700+ damage.
