The overzealous young Tenshodo agents are not interested in listening to reason. In the name of your empress, you have no choice but to flex your adventurer muscles and pound some sense into them.
NOTE: You lose the Temporary Key Item: Black Book upon triggering the fight.
Click on the Outcropping again, and three NPCs will spawn, then nine mobs will spawn (Gorattz (x3) Renfred (x3) Bompupu (x3)). All are Ninja job. They cast Doton: Ni, Katon: Ni, Suiton: Ni, Hyoton: Ni, Huton: Ni, Utsusemi: Ni.
Of each of the three, two are copies and one is the original. They all look the same, and the only way to tell which one is the original one is that the original casts Utsusemi: Ni. If a copy is defeated instead of the original, it will respawn, and will continue to do so until the original is dead. Once the original is dead, all of it's copies disappear. Once all three originals are dead, the fight is over.
The fight itself is not hard, the mobs take damage easily. I duo'd it with a RDM (who had just solo'd the mission right before I came). Something to absorb damage is recommended, however as the mobs all hitting at once can quickly drain HP.
Obtain Temporary Key Item: Cactuar Key upon winning the fight, and 500 exp.
Click on the Outcropping again for another cutscene and to automatically start the next mission.
To read the transcripts for this quest, see the Enemy of the Empire (II) Spoilers page.
This mission is part of the A Shantotto Ascension mission series.

If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
