Summary

To restore hope to those who struggled for survival in Abyssea - La Theine, you must vanquish a fearsome Gigas who never leaves home without his golden helm.

Walkthrough

Examine the Cavernous Maw in La Theine Plateau to trigger a cut scene that starts this quest. Defeat the following NMs to obtain the corresponding key items from each mob:

• A Dented Gigas Shield from Adamastor
• A item needed from Grandgousier
• A item needed from Pantagruel

Only the player who popped the NM will receive the corresponding key item. With all three key items, examine the ??? at (G-6) to pop Briareus. All alliance members will get credit for the kill. Exit Abyssea-La Theine either through the Cavernous Maw or from Visitant Status time-out to receive Lunar Abyssite and to complete the quest.
