i already did beauty and the galka, but Talib is asking for 4 zinc ores, not 1. ??

Im a level 30 Thief/ninja, whats the best way to farm zink ore? thanks :)
I would say the best way to get Zinc does not involve killing worms. If you have the gil, buy a Field Tunica and maybe the gloves and mine for it in Zeruhn Mines. If you would rather just buy it, go to Zeruhn mines and just /shout that you are buying all Zinc Ore. You'd be amazed how fast people jump on that and you can normally get it cheaper buying directly from a person rather than the AH. Hope this helps. :)

best way ive found is to head to Giddeus, and fight the worms there. they drop zincs like crazy. thats if you dont mind going to windy for that. or as stated 400g in AH. some people also sell zinc for about 200-350 in bazaars. look around.

What is the easiest way to get Zinc Ore? Buy it for 400gil each? Mine it? If mine it where do I mine? Or kill Stone Eaters. Please Advise.

OK i read the Kinda'va a rip off post and noticed AlthornCS's Post. Soooo your saying that if you have gotten the Tenshodo Invite and turned it in you can do the NIN quests in norg? I just did that Tenshodo invite for my Rank 5 mission. So if that is the case i can take my butt up to norg and do the quest right?
no they said that you don't need fame for mission 10, you do need fame for the Ninja Scrolls.

I am sooo sick and tired of this site giving out half-assed POS quest guides. Whoever wrote this needs a kick in the ***** If you want to know how to do this quest, Shady Business, read this:
First of all, you can not immediately start giving Talib the zinc ores, you much first complete a mini quest. In Bastok Port, go to Warehouse 2 (it is marked on the map.) Upon entering, take a left and go down the stairs. Talib is located behind the stairs and is dressed in red clothing with a red hat. Talk to him, and you will get a cutscene. Afterward, give Talib one Zinc Ore piece, and he will give you a key item, something logs (name not that important.) Now, head to the Bastok Mines area and hang a left into the residential area, marked Ore Road on the map. Walk down the steps and immediately go to your left and into the first door. Inside is a lone Galka standing near a fireplace (name starts with a P.) Talk to him to finish the mini quest (you do not need to talk to the girl from the cutscene even though he asks you to.) After completing this simple quest, you can turn in 4 Zinc Ores to Talib for 350 gil per quest completion.
I hope this helps...get some real writers/guides from now on, jeez....

Actually, that mini quest thing you mention is a seperate quest called Beauty and the Galka. Its the first quest he gives you and it is listed on the site...so the information for this quest is correct since it's a seperate quest... No need to get so angry about it.

Location of Talib in Port Bastok is (F-6).
Name of Galka is Parraggoh in Bastok Mines.

Tenshodo fame is critical if you want Tonko: Ichi and Utsusemi: Ichi scrolls without having to pay 10k and 100k for them, respectively.

But selling to the AH instead of Talib does not get you Tenshodo fame which is needed for a high rank mission, as well as the Purple Belt quest.
Tenshodo fame isn't required for the mission. All you need is a Tenshodo invitation, which can be received either with Jeuno fame (to get the quest for it) or by buying one in the AH (finishing the quest or using an invite earns you a new invite that can be resold or given away). Once you're inside the Tenshodo, you can get the quests for Mission 10 whether or not you've earned any Tenshodo fame previously.

You don't need any fame for the "Tenshodo Invite" quest, while talking to the npc behind the counter in "Neptune's Spire" go down to the third line (it doesn't look like anything is there but just scroll down past "Nothing") and she'll tell you to go to the tenshodo warehouse in bastok, or you can just skip all that crap and buy an invite from the AH and just trade it to her.
