In-Game TextDescriptionOnly one person can do this quest per in game day. Zauko needs someone to help light the Streetlamps along the shoreline. You have to light all 12 lamps after 21:00 and before 1 in the morning to finish the quest. This quest can be received and completed between 18:05 and 1:00 the next day. Upon second completion, Zauko gives the Key Item "Lamp Lighter's Membership Card". LOL, I've gotten this quest at least 7-8 times in the past 2 days. 4 of those times I forgot to light the lamps and Zuako said he's dissapointed in me. Hope I don't lose fame :p

i got this quest today, but i couldnt light the lamps?!?! it wouldnt let me activate them.

is it rather easy to find all the lamps in the row? and is it easy to get it done on time?

Now already pass 18:00 why i can't get the quest yet ? Izzit my fame too low ?
What if one person starts lighting at one end and someone else starts lighting at the other? Is this quest only given to one person per day?

lol that has nothing to do with this quest ..... go to gobbie bag or somehthing and ask, but since you did I will tell you the shop is in the little dip (inbetween both set of stairs) in lower jeuno. :) have fun

do you have to wait till after 2100 to start lighting the lamp posts or can you start lighting it right after you activate the quest?

Is this quest repeatable? I've completed it once but haven't been able to acquire it again.

It starts around 18:10 game time. It does not activate exactly 18:00.

This might not be necessary but... for those who are lost and confused about this simple quest...
Zauko is the guard in the open street before entering the passage way to Mog House / Upper Jeuno / Port Jeuno
The 12 lamps can be lit in a row:
1 by Zauko (I-6)
1 by Commerce Chamber, near the fountain (I-7)
1 by Commerce Chamber, on the other side of the building (H-7)
2 lamps next to the stairs in H-8 (facing the ocean)
1 across from "Waag-Deeg's Magic" (Magic Shop)
1 across from "Muckvix's Junk Shop" (Goblin Shop)
1 lamp next to the stairs (G-9)
1 lamp next to the stairs (G-10)
3 lamps in a row, facing the ocean, next to the exit, in (G-10), (F-10), & (F-11)

Is it really true that only one person in the whole entire sever can only do this quest at a time? Wow...that must really suck. I hope no one knows about this quest XD. Is the reward just Jeuno Fame? As in our starting fame to do other quests in the Jeuno area?
Yes, it's absolutely true - one person per game day. It's pretty easy to get it in the non-primetime hours though, and you can still try to "snatch" it even when others are competing to get it right at 6pm.

How do you light them? Just by highlighting them and hitting enter? (ie, talking to an NPC)

The lamposts are "activatable" objects, similar to ??? points, or direction signposts. If you have the quest, you will be given the option of lighting the lampost when you click on and activate them.

this quest can only be accepted after 18:00. the lampposts extend from the zone to rolanberry fields to right next to zauko

u start the quest at 18:00 but u can't light the street lamps untill 2100... if you read what Zauko says you wouldn't have these questions.
Only ONE person per in game day can do this quest so if you can't get it, that means someone has already gotten the mission from Zauko, so your best option is to come back later and try your luck.
Activating the street lamps can be done by clicking the 'lever switch' on the lamp post and pressing 'Enter' when given the option to "light the street lamp - yes or no"

The first time I tried getting this quest it gave it to me np. Of course i spaced out and forgot to light the lamps on time. Doh ><
So since ive tried and no luck. Hes dissapointed in me hehe. Ive been trying to get my fame up to do gobbie and mog quests and the card trade quest but no luck. I even tried to get the quest to get map for Delkfutts tower and nothing. Fame is Lame. But i will get it sooner or later.

Just buy sum moss and go to selbina, im on gobbie bag 3 bad have done the card quest too, and im only lvl 24 WAR (lvl 11 MNK sub)
