SummaryIlumida wants to light a candle in memory of her husband. Bring her one from the Temple of the Goddess. WalkthroughSpeak with Ilumida in Upper Jeuno in her house at (G-8). She asks you to obtain a candle from the Temple of the Goddess in memory of her late husband. Head to the Temple of the Goddess right outside her house and speak with Rouliette. After speaking to Rouliette you are given a second quest, Candle-making. Rouliette needs you to get a lanolin cube, which drops from the Battering Rams in La Theine Plateau. Once you have given the lanolin cube to Rouliette you can return to Ilumida to receive your reward. You are granted the title "Activist for Kindness." Quest Series

man i can't get the quest of Ilumina... something is wrong here. It says you need no fame... anyone know whats happening here

I must have lucked out.. killed 1 Ram.. got the cube... lol

Yeah same thing happened to me, I happened to run by it on my way to dunes and killed it, got the cube first try. I didnt know what it was for so I asked my linkshell and they said to sell it to NPC so i did, now I see this quest after I already sold it >.<

Is there a criteria for this? She won't give me the quest. I'm a L28/14 MNK/WAR and I have 30 unique quests done in my home city (and several repeated ones) and just over 70 done overall.
I'm a level 27MNK/13WAR and she won't give me the quest either. Is there a level restriction? If not what does the fame guy have to say to you to do this quest.

This was the first mob I got killed by (aside from quadavs) - but this was the first one to kill me with one hit!! >< (Konschtat Ram)
It fairly took me by surprise, as heading up from Bastok, there isnt anything particularly tough until you come across one of these guys!
...So ever since that day, I have made sure I kill them every time I see them, in Highlands and Latheine, to slowly gather my revenge =P
(Even getting off chocos, and choosing a different route just to check if theyre going about!! lol)
As a RDM, I couldnt comfortably kill one until lvl31...so @ 21, even with 2hr, there is absolutely no chance a whm could kill one??? wtf?
I did manage to kill one @ 29, but I also died at the same level trying another one!
I got the drop a couple of times around xp level, and didnt know what it was for, so ended up dropping it when I was running out of space ; ;
Now, when I actually need the damn thing, it just WON'T DROP >:(

Took me at least 3 hours and 7 ram kills to get the cube to give to get the candle. 8(
