Just raise the fame of the lowest Nation you have. Jeuno is a comnbination of all nations and Jeuno its self. (more other nations than Jeuno though) Rank does help, so do get as high as you can.

I think the key for this is how many quests you've done in Jeuno; also may be a rank issue. I tried this rank 2 with only 7 Jeuno quests, didn't get it. Tried again as rank 3 with about 15 and got it. Just do the quests in Jeuno (most are cheap or easy) and you'll probably be able to get it.

painite is just 9-10k
gold ingot is the most expensive one at 33k around there
velvet cloth is 3k
tiger leather is 1700

all fenrir prices but yea, not 80k

I have the fame to do the quest, but haven't been able to bite the bullet and pay the 80-90K price (on cerebrus) for the material.

Gobby bag 4 is indeed much cheaper. I guess as much as I hate it, I'll have to do some NM camping eventually to get the money for the things I want.

after talking to someone who had done them all they said this is the most expensive gobbie bag quest. in fat the 4th quest costs ~1/3 as much as this, which is quite funny. she unfortunatly did not remember what she needed to get tho. So someone is gonna have to get there, heh

Ive done 78 quests and i could not get the third gobbie bag yet. I have 39 sandorian quests 25 Bastokan Quests 3 windurstian quests and others that total to 78, however i have only completed around 7 or 8 Jeuno quests, so that may have been more important than total quests. I also have done several repeatables including giving over 50 moat carps. I cannot yet get the third bag, but its not like i can afford it yet. I hope this helps, but some quests unlock other quests. I don't think that is the case for this, but i do believe you may have to attain a certain level of fame to attain the bags, i got the second one at 75 quests, though i didnt check after i couldnt at 60 or so. I got it after my fame level moved up in Bastok. The first one i got without a problem with just over 50. I dont think quest number really has anything to do with it. It's total fame. Doing a certain number of quests just makes that go up:-) Hope this helps!!!!

For Gobbiebag No 2 I needed the Jeuno fame:

"Your name is mentioned quite often"

For Gobbiebag No 3 I needed the Jeuno fame:

"A good deal of people here in Jeuno know about you"

Mendi is the NPC in lower jeuno, who tells fame, he is in the middle under an umbrella at the seaside.

(I don't have the money for gobbiebag No 3 atm, so I don't know if I can get bag No 4 as well)

Well after some further talking to other people, you may not need to have so many quests done. A freind that had 47 quessts done did Gobbie bag 2, and was able to recieve Gobbie bag 3 quest after finishing 2. For certain a certain high level of fame is required. He had done the repeatable quests in San d'Oria to the point that his fame was maxed, so that may have helped.
