SummaryGalmut is running out of oil for the clock tower. The Tenshodo might have some in stock. DescriptionGo to Galmut's house in Upper Jeuno next to the tavern & the chocobos. There will be a cutscene where Narhira will enter recounting Galmut's start with the Clock Tower job. Galmut will then ask you to bring some Clock Tower oil. Go to the Tenshodo H.Q. in the Neptune's Spire in Lower Jeuno, and talk to Garnev. He says he will trade you the oil for a Gold Orcmask. After receiving the quest you get the quest Deal with Tenshodo which has you go off and retrieve the Gold Orcmask. This was found in Davoi off an Orcish Trooper. Once you give Garnev the Gold Orcmask he gives you the Key Item Clock tower oil which is used to complete this quest. Quest Series

To get a gold Orcmask, kill an Orcish Trooper in Davoi. Rougly level 45-49. That's about all I know since I have the quest but don't have the level to obtain the item.

That's what you have to kill in Monastic Cavern inside Davoi to get the Gold orcmask. Its name is Orcish Overlord and it has a 24 hour spawn. It'll kill you if you're under 45 like in the previous post. There maybe Orcish Warlords and Hexspinners there with the Overlord. Oh yeah, killing Orcish Overlord may induce the spawn of the HNM, Overlord Bakgodek. He has a special ability that absorbs TP and it is advised to be in a 18-person alliance of level 70 to achieve victory.

Erm I've seen the mask drop off just regular ol' trash orc in Zvahl.
I would guess it's just a random(rare?) drop from higher level orcs. You definitely don't need to kill some nm just to get one though heh.

Never been to Zvahl so dunno what lurks there. What exactly are the names of the "regular ol' trash orcs" there? Both ways seems hard for anyone under level 30.

there are about 5 different fame counts... one with each Major town, Jeuno, and the tenshido, so just 70 quests says nothing, but a total, you problaby need more of a specific kind of fame.

This quest is based on Jeuno fame. I only did a about 10 Jeuno quests to get it.

umm sorry to burst thy bubbles but i have pitiful jeuno fame and I got this quest no problem, it opened during m10 and I soloed it with immense ease, there is a trooper sitting in front of the magic wall when i went after my magicite, I jumped him and he dropped an orcmask. The gloves are a nice change from RSE as a rdm.
be warned tho at 49 W/O phalanx these guys are a serious fight, luckally it missed so oftin I survived with 1/3 hp remaining.
