SummaryTo have her father's breastplate repaired by Ranchuriome, Miaux needs you to find an Altepa polishing stone. WalkthroughTo start this quest, talk to Miaux at E-6 in Northern San d'Oria outside the 2nd floor entrance to the Smithing guild. She needs her father's old armor repaired, but needs you to get an Altepa Polishing Stone for the repairs. Travel to H-8 in Eastern Altepa Desert, find the ??? and examine it. A Notorious Monster called Decurio I-III will appear. After defeating it, examine the ??? spot again for the Altepa Polishing Stone. In my own opinion, this is a leet lance. I've used it all the way to 60. The delay is no problem if you got a lot of high quality accuracy equips.
i toook the lance all the way up to level 53 then i replaced it with holy lance
The lance really isn't all that great, you ust HAVE to have done this quest to be able to do the other AF quests. I replaced the PErigrene with the next lance rather quickly. I don't find I miss the vit bonus much.

Basically you just have to sit around and beg high level japanese people until two nice people will finally agree to help you. Been trying for 2 weeks, and i've not had one single person agree. My DRG is pretty much on hold until I can find someone to help me with this crap.

I've been trying to get this quest done for about a week now. I'm lvl 51 Dragoon, just want to get it done so I can move onto the other AF quests. So hard to get a party together though. Any advice on getting a lvl 50ish party together for doing an AF quest?
While it was hard to get help, it was even harder killing this beast. That thing got me and a lv69 ranger down to alittle over 100hp each and we were poisoned after it. The Lance is decent, but not as good as it could have been. I wont complain though, it is good enough for me.
