The NM Spiders are called "Tsuchigumo" and they're pretty strong. I did this as a Nin40/Thf18 in full Royal Squire gear and I was taking about 70-120 damage per hit. They have the Warrior trait "Double Strike" so every once in a while they'd get two swings in. They also have the Huge Spider abilities Sickle Scythe and Acid Spray. They will link with any Giant Spiders in the area, so clear those out before activating this.
The Key Item given is "Trick Box". The East Altepa Desert has a fairly consistent high level traffic so the hard part in finding help is flagging someone down. I had a much harder time getting back to Bastok than in fighting the Spiders.

WalkthroughHead to Norg and speak with Ryoma at H-8 for a cutscene. Next, head to Port Bastok and find Kagetora at F-6 in Warehouse #2, just across from the airship dock. Speak with him and he will send you off to find Ensetsu, who is located at I-5, just northeast of the warehouse. Find him to see more of the story unfold. Travel to Eastern Altepa Desert. Head to H-6, and clear the area of any beetles. Find the ???, and when your party is ready, examine it. Two spider NMs named Tsuchigumo appear. After you slay the NMs, you will receive a key item called a Trick Box. Return to Norg and speak with Ryoma to receive your Zushio and Anju katanas! nice ok we are getting some af quests ^^ The thing is they only have the AF1 quests. You can get the rest of the Ninja AF quests at
