Well, here is my experience with this quest for anyone who is interested.
I first went after the Malboro NM. It apparently has a 100% drop rate on the item and a 21-24hr spawn time. I sat there overnight as my Summoner with time stamp to see if I could get the ToD. I read that it aggros at Lv75 so I left Carbuncle out the whole time.
Well, it did aggro while I was there AFK asleep and Carbuncle did kill it all on his own. I woke up pleasantly surprised to find the item for the quest in my inventory. Carbuncle essentially camped it for me. :D
Next I went after the Dodo. It took about an hour to get it to pop. I got claim and then it dropped. 1/1 on it. I did this as a Lv75 THF/RNG for widescan. I had a Thief's Knife too. With it's supposed 20something% drop rate and treasure hunter it should drop relatively fast.
Last I tried Nue. I HATE this ****. I went to camp him right after Dodo. I was there the whole night well over 5hrs before it popped. It ended up popping right as I was about to log off for the night. I got claim but no drop. I logged on the next day at the camp and it popped again in about 30mins. Still no drop. About an hour later I got it to pop again, killed it and got the drop. 1/3.
I used Thief again for Nue. No need for widescan since the spawn area is small. I had a Dancer sub for Animated Flourish(dancer version of provoke). It helps to have some sort of fast claiming for Nue because of the small area.
For a guy that HATES camping NMs in every sense of the word it wasn't too bad. Treasure Hunter helps a lot. If you don't have Thief leveled or have a buddie willing to camp it with you then you should really level a Thief sub.

In-Game TextDescriptionCollect the three items required by Vola (Tenshodo HQ in Jeuno).
Deadly Dodo sometimes spawns on behalf of Tabar Beaks when Tabar Beaks are killed around from J6 to K7. Deadly Dodo uses wicked ray, so it is dangerous to kill it alone.
Nue sometimes spawns on behalf of Tundra Tigers when Tundra Tigers are killed around F7 near the tower.
Morbolger spawns at the hall H10 in the furthest area of Ordelle's Caves. Morbolger spawns every 21-24 hours (real time). Watch out for bad smell. Give these items to Vola.

Hey all i gots 40 mnk and already did the silence of the lambs quest my jeuno fame is @ about 5 or rather i know i am on the 4th gobbie bag quest right now anybody know why i couldn't flag this quest all he said was to be carful when i talked to (well a little more than that but to sum it up just to be carful when i go to new areas)

By the way, Vola is in the tenshudo H.Q. (Neptunes spire) which requires a membership if you dont have one already.
I looks like Morbolger has changed to a repop of 23-24 hours. Needs to be confirmed.

1/1 on Marbolger.. he was up when i went there.
1/3 on Nue.. took forever to spawn every time. I can confirm the statue and the mob that shares a tiger/statue spawn are not PHs and the only PH is the one that is only a tiger.. so best not to kill the statues.. if your lucky when you go there, there will be two statues inside(leave them alone) and you can just keep killing the one thundra tiger that spawns(every 2 hours)
1/5 on Dodo.. spawn times werent bad at all, would spawn in less than an hour.. usually a half hour after started camping everytime.. little to no competition. Best to use ranger sub and stand in the middle of the pop area. there are two tabar beaks and they appear under the Chaimapaign Courel or however its spelled.

at what level should i get this belt?
i'm 0/4 on the dodo skin and haven't tried the other NM's
unlike other NMs Morbolger's pop requirement is somewhat odd for two reasons:
1. There is no placeholder
2. The window it will pop is 21-24 hours from previous death. However, unlike other 21-24 hour NMs, it doesn't necessarily pop right on ToD in half hour increments.
With #2 being said, you have to {focus} the entire three hour window if you have competition because he will pop anytime during it.

I am one happy person right now
first thing i do when i log in today is farm in Sauromugue (sp?). so i'm wandering around, killing the tabars and raptors and lo and behold, dodo pops. this is about 10 minutes after i log in. hes a wimp and gets owned, skin drops.

after partying a lil in qufim for a couple hours with NIN i decide to test my luck with Nue. I had read all the post here and was a lil scared. so many 0/???. but i feel pretty lucky so i get tele.
i get to spawn area and 2 ppl already have claim on Nue. they kill him easily, but dont get drop. they were 0/4 apparently. so i go afk for about an hr and a half. i come back refreshed from shower and run around the tower once. there he is wandering around. i kill him easily. i begin to lag a lil bit and think i only gt a black tiger fang. but then yellow and green text pop up saying "Gliran obtais the Nue Fang"

Now i'm off to try and get the vine. hopefully i can atleast get ToD.

Anyone got the TOD of this on Midgardsormr??
woot got my brown belt, heres how it went:
killed molbolger at 6:30pm 1/1 kill nue at 7:15 0/1 kill dodo at 9:10 1/1 next day log on kill nue around 11:20 1/2 so took me 17 hours and in that time i also got a exp pt and slept for about 8 hrs

How to get to Morbolger:
Enter Ordelle's Caves at the standard entrance near Rescue Drill. Head down to I-5. You will change maps.
Head down to I-9, map change again.
Down to I-11/12, fall down the hole. Head east, map change.
Hug the left wall until you reach a big room, this is the Molborger room.

Hmm, i just went to Killingifrit about this quest and it said something about you must first complete the quest, "Fists of the fearsome beast." I was like ok, so i began to search for the quest, but in the end i came up with nothing. So Im here to ask if this quest exist and does it have to completed to start this quest?
The quest you have to do first is called Silence of the Rams. Some of the info at KI is translated, and not very good translations.
I believe the only prerequisites are the Bastok zinc-ore tenshodo quest (name?) and then the "Silence of the Rams" Bastok tenshodo quest (for the purple belt).
