Did this today, my first bcnm.
Setup: me, galkan BST20/WHM10 (base of 23CHR by the way),another BST20/WHM10, elvaan, and a hume WHM20/BLM10. Equip on all members
wasn't too extravagant, me and the other BST had about +10 CHR normally, +15 CHR with Tuna Sushi up.
The WHM used an apple pie for good measure, and we all had pineapple juice as well.
The Fight: Bats only begin to fight when you get close, so we threw Protectra up, ate our respective foods, and healed whatever HP and MP needed. I took
the bat on the left, while the other bst approached from the right. We used charm the same time, and when you're close enough Colo-Colo is already on you. My charm stuck the first time, but the other furies chased my bst friend until his 3rd or 4th charm. Still no problem, furies aren't that bad. In general, charm stuck for a few mins, and when it wore off, re-charming wasn't anything too difficult. Max amount of tries I had to do is 3. Just that Colo-Colo will be constantly attacking/poisonga'ing/debuffing whoever has hate at the time. Another note: Familiar, the BST 2-Hour, is not necessary here. If anything, use reward if you really need to keep your pet alive. Colo-Colo was dead before the two furies were, and when that happened, we waited for charm to wear off. Then me and the other bst went in and killed the furies, since they only had slivers of hp left. Although we didn't break any records, it was a very solid approach that worked very well.
Drops: What I can't really tell you is how the drop on astrals are. Although deemed a horrible drop, I got it on my first try, and the second time I got a thunder spirit pact. I hope to do this more in the future so I have a better look at the drop rate.
Have fun fellow astral seekers, and good luck.
