was hard fight as 2 bst, easily done by 3 bst, we let timers kewl, 2nd round pets went in, kited guy for awhile till 3rd timer up, finished him off. We were both bst/nin. We used echo drops, high potions, utsusemi, gaudy harness and rune axes.

Just duod this fight while playing my whm, and my brother's 75 nin on my laptop.

First time i tried it I wiped and had to hp both our characters because my reraise got dispelled after my brother's character got one shotted by a lucky light blade when shadows were down. . . NM was at 1%. . . one of the problems was i didn't bring any yag drinks or echo drops for my whm.

Second round went a lot better. loaded both our characters up with echo drops and brought 2 yag drinks. Durring the fight whenever he cast silencega i would use an echo on Chyme and then flash with my whm while casting Ni, or Ichi if timer for Ni wasn't up. this time the battle wasn't even close.

Took a little more than 12 minutes to get the fight done. the record was around 1 minute. So if you can get a party to do this fight it'll go much faster at least. i don't really like doing things with people i don't know, so i didn't bother shouting.

This wasn't an easy fight, but it can be duod.

For your information, after every Zilart mission you get a new title. I guess people are rushing from one mission to the next without checking. for example after completing the bcnm fight, ZM4 and getting the cutscene, I received the title "Bearer of the wise woman's hopes". I received another after each completed mission. This mission (Which I completed 2 days ago) granted me the title "Destroyer of Antiquity". For those of you who did not notice this, pls stop and smell the roses lol. BTW, RelentlessSouls LS and ThorsHammer LS team up, KUJATA SERVER ZM8 SET RECORD 2MIN 3 SECS. no whm unless you count me BRD66/WHM33 LMAO
done this one too yesterday ^^
# Jan 22 2007 at 4:36 AM Rating: Decent
well, this one was easy too lol
Thought it would be harder.
But must say, amazing cs ^^

Cant remember realy our setup cause it changed allot but it looked something like this:

whm68 (me)
whm71
drk75
rdm69
and the 2 others i really cant remember -_-
1/1 FTW!

Here's our setup...
NIN75/WAR - Gauroma <3 (This guy is a God!)
RNG61/NIN - TsukiakariUsagi (Me ^^)
RDM75/BLM - Sphen
BLM70/RDM - Sheemie
BLM70/WHM - Nesaki
WAR74/NIN - Krice (My Awesome JP Friend since ZM4)

We went in... Gauroma kept hate the whole time, every time he Blade: Jin, I Sidewinder'ed. Krice was backup voke for shadows, per usual. The mages watched his elemental spells as to not cure him. He went down in 5m51s, Unicorn server record (since the last server update) was 5m15s, so close! This was a pretty easy fight, as long as everyone knows their job, watches for spell changes, and doesn't act stupid, you're set. Good luck guys.
Easy!!!

Just did this with a 6 person party and could have done it with less.
setup was
73PLD/WAR(me)
75NIN/WAR
75BLU/WAR
75SAM/WAR
68SMN/WHM
68WHM/BLM
It was easy hate was all over the place for most of the fight but never stayed on someonlong enough for shadows to go and when he hit me it was for 20's and the WHM barely used any mp so i think the difficulty of this fight is overrated Ifrit Cauldron was harder lol.

Just reading the posts debating the best tank for this fight. I think it is THF. Probably because I just got done tanking.

Set up:

Efay: 75BRD/WHM
Urarenge: 75RDM/BLM
Bockon: 75THF/NIN <-- (Me btw)

Anyway...the key is echo drops and haste. Oh...full HP helps alot.

You don't always need a NIN or PLD to tank! >:O

did this fight today as:

75 war/nin
75 war/nin
72 mnk/war
70 blm/whm
62 rdm/blm
75 whm/blm (me)

The fight went fairly smooth, the NM used aoe dispelga twice and aoe slow once so as whm I had a pretty active role in keeping the tanks HP up. The main tank did a good job calling out elements so the blm knew what not to nuke and the fight ended in about 4 minutes.
overkill

Duoed this the other night bst/whm and rdm/whm. Not very hard of a fight at all but time did almost become an issue (26 min 57 seconds >.<). Very easily kited while waiting for call beast timer. Gravity and bind (charm bind between resasts) stuck everytime and he is slow to begin with due to the fact he is almost constantly buffing himself. So if anyone tells you that a full party is needed to kill him they are full of you know what. I could actually see a possiblity of a bst soloing this fight with enough meds and some luck. Light blade (or whatever thats called that he uses) hit very inconsistently on CC range from 200-1100 so if it hit in the low end of the range a lot i think you could have a chance. If i get a chance to attempt to solo this fight i will post what happened.
rdm/nin > all

beat this guy as brd and rdm/nin without too much difficulty.

Skeleton crew

After winning ZM6 with 3 people, we decided we should try Kam'lanaut with the same crew and see if he was tougher. We picked up another on the way, so party was:
75NIN/WAR
75WAR/NIN
71NIN/WAR (me)
75WHM/BLM
The war pulled hate at one point, and his HP dropped down to like 200 (probably caught a Light Blade) but other than that it was cake. I guess a 4 person pt doesn't really qualify as a "skeleton crew" but it can certainly be done with less than 6.

Thanks to Credos, Tenkei, and Fahzoo for helping me out!

I completed this in about 5.5 minutes the other day.

Set up:

70PLD/WAR <<me
75BLM/WHM
70NIN/WAR
69SMN/WHM
75DRK/SAM

It was an easy fight. I tanked the fight, until he did his hate-resetting crap, but quickly pulled it back.

It was an easy fight, but one thing i would suggest is a DRK. He doesn't have to sub SAM (even though getting 4 Guillotines off helped a LOT), but Absorb-TP will save your life if you are tanking. He did Light Blade on me for 900+, but he only got one off. Having the DRK there for the extra stun was nice, but Absorb-TP is an asset to this fight like no other.
Watch the hate reset

Did this last night with my LS

67PLD/WAR (me)
67WAR/NIN
67MNK/WAR
71RNG/NIN
71WHM/BLM
75SMN/WHM

Got full buffs from SMN (Stoneskin, Blink, Fenrir x2) and went in.

I saved JA's for hate reset moves. I've heard nightmares about hate spread all over the place and everyone getting Light Bladed so I made a point to only use JA's when Hate Reset occured. I also equipped a lot of +Enmity (High breath mantle, Hercules, Machuaitl+1, AF)

WAR Rampaged everytime he had 100 (one hit for over 1k) and the MNK and RNG did Light SC.

SMN grabbed hate with a bloodpact right as he readied Light Blade, goodbye Garuda!

Only scary situation was right at the end. WAR lit off that 1k+ Rampage and got Light Bladed to 82HP, but the MNK lit off Dragon Kick and I was readying Spirits, Dragon Kick killed him though.

Fenrir - Uberdinosnipers
this guy was cake, our pt line up

NIN75/WAR37 - Bullroth Galka
THF74/NIN37 - Calignous Elvaan
RNG75/NIN37 - Gummy Tarutaru
WHM75/SMN37 - Yaoki Mithra
NIN75/WAR37 - Outlawstar Mithra
MNK73/WAR36 - <me> Galka

our hp barely even touched yellow, we had warcry on 90% of the time, even with his AoE dispel. we took them down without 2hring at all. EASY fight.

on my way to the top, i found Pallas, and some dude was fighting him and i killed Pallas's bat and the Nin got Charmed, i killed the nin and claimed Pallas. soon after my death my friends claimed it ^_^. Anyways good luck with Him, he's Easy if u come prepared ^^ /cheer

# Jun 01 2006 at 11:09 AM Rating: Decent
i'll hand it to SE that this guy seems to have great AI. he never uses his abilities by themselves. He does greatwheel then lightblade so he can kill a mage. or AoE gravity then greatwheel so that he can get to the mages while you try to reach him. or silencga and then lightblade to kill your ninja. i hate how he does that.
Kinda boring.

Well our set up was 75Nin, 74Mnk, 72Smn, 70Brd, 70ishWhm, and 64Rdm. We went into the fight, Whm D/C'd. We waited a couple minutes, then decided to go for it. It was cake. Kind of boring. Almost. And then it was over, lol.

Beat this with
74PLD/WAR (me)
75NIN/WAR
75DRK/THF
70DRK/THF
75RDM/WHM

Ok, since this is uncapped, you can buff before you enter, so we had the DRKs sleep up some tp.

We went in, i voked. the 75DRK planted an 1800 spiral hell onto the NIN. The other DRK threw a ground strike on me. Took a HUGE chunk of his health, maybe 40%. From then on, we just beat him down, SATA WSing whenever we could, easy battle. Took 3 minutes. Remember, Uncapped BCNMs where you can buff are your friend.
Bleh.

Well, we tried with the following setup:

70 WHM/BLM
67 PLD/WAR (me)
70 WAR/NIN
66 DRK/WAR
70 WHM/SMN
66 RNG/NIN

We were doing fairly well most of the battle. I tanked using Earth Staff + Defender, so a number of Kam's attacks didn't hurt too much (normal exp-mob, really, 60-100). The additional damage from his en-spells was a pain. My 2-hour wasn't up (due to having done ZM6 shortly before), and I'm not sure what, if any effect that would have. Anyway, we got him to 40% before I died, and the war/nin got d/c'd, so the remaining people got him to 30% before being slaughtered. We're currently awaiting a 75 Ninja to help.
