Summary

Your initiation into the Tavnazian order of knights requires you to assess the situation from the lookout platform in the south of Lufaise Meadows.

Walkthrough

Enter the Tavnazian Safehold and proceed straight through the door and across the bridge and talk to Quelveuiat. He will ask you two questions, say "Yes" to both. He will then tell you to go to the lookout tower and report back what you see.

It is highly recommended that you get a Map of Lufaise Meadows before heading out. To exit walk back across the bridge towards the exits (4 of them). Take the first exit on your right, which should take you to Lufaise Meadows.

Once in Lufaise Meadows, cross the bridge and head south to (H-10). You should then see a lookout tower. First clear any Orcs from down below as they will link, including Stonechuckers. Climb the stairs and examine the ???. It will say you see nothing, then you feel a murderous presence. The NM Splinterspine Grukjuk (Ranger) will spawn at the bottom of the stairs and start shooting you. Kill him.

After the fight go back to the Safehold and talk to Quelveuiat again to complete the quest. You will receive the title "Tavnazian Squire".

I got the quest then promotly forgot about it.
Saw the ??? later that week and, of course, clicked it.
Needless to say I was jumped by an orc (second time that day I clicked something that spawned orcs =_=).
He wasnt hard at all, I just hate it when stuff pops behind me like that.
Not too hard...

Solo'd this as a 50whm, he wont melee until he has lost about 25% hp, so I kept stoneskin and blink up, nuked him a little, healed up my mp, then nuked him some more. Misses and hits for zero don't do anything to healing! Engaged with about 460/660 mp wise. Just used melee from there, ended with 270ish HP and 60ish MP. Dia 2, Slow, Para, Flash, Stoneskin, Regen 2 were the only spells I cast once I engaged, and a DS + Cure 2 somewhere in there to keep my HP up. I'd say in total I used close to 1000 MP.

First time I spawned him I was still in my 30 gear and barely zoned to the safehold. Second time a Stonechucker linked (yes all the way to the top of the tower) and I ate dirt...

Easily killed by a 61MNK. I'm think it's lvl 40ish as that area is a lvl 40 area.
