this thing seems to be kite only. we have tried it 6 times. once we tried tanking it straight up with a ninja, he was down in a matter of minutes. the next time we tried it straight tanking with a paladin with the same results just took a bit longer. the next time we had the paladin kite with a samurai tp dumping, ranger and blackmage hitting from a distance. won that fight, wash rinse repeat.
Not to bad if i say so my self.

Well i just did this fight 2 times today our party set up was 4 smn 1 bard 1 rdm. The best thing to do is use fenrir on the ram since this is a very long fight and if you have a HQ dark staff you can gain 1 mp per tick with ballad + refresh. We pretty much just used eclipse bite and normal melee with fenrir and recasted when needed. No one died on either run and first run finished in 17 min 2nd was in 20. The rdm would bind or gravity as needed if we lost all are pets close together. It was very easy this way but just took a long time. Got pretty ok drops on each run too.
all bst wont work here

Tried it all 6 bsts with lvl 74~75.
Our CCs are suceptable to the HP down, which reduces HP to bout 1/5 of max...

Basically that is the end of our pets... and the KSNM...

after finding no information about this KSNM I attempted it myself with 2 nins, brd, war/nin, rdm, drk

after buffing up and hasting we went in and noticed that the ram is very fast and spams breakga and paraylzega, it also has that Ram special ablity that lowers HP which lowers it by an insane amount

took out our ninja in a matter of seconds

my suggestion would be to kite it with 2xPlds on the hallway towards the field and have BLMs and Rngs shoot and magic it to death have a whm help with stona and paralyna

might want to bring Yagudo drinks and other foods to keep up with the MP draining

hope that helps any

A friend had this orb when we were doing a different run and we decided to try it because I was looking for gravedigger. We kept it from sleeping for the most part, but he is a tough *****. Lots of HP and tough as nails. The BST thing might work, but 30 mins isn't much against this guy.
its like lvl 90

The problem with this mob is he spams paralyze and HP down as well as has massive regen when he is asleep. My ls has tried several times with many differnt kinds of 75 parties. WE all have max merits and it is still unbeatable. Good luck tho

if he only regens when he's asleep, did you try all bst group?

the only problem i can see for an all bst group is killing it before 30 minutes is up, pets can get paralyzed or slept, whatever, they will keep going and there is pet food, if they were all to die, there is always charmbind until the next call beast is ready. each jug has 4000+ hp though, should last a bit with 6 at a time.

enter, call beast, wait 3 mins so recast is ready again and fight, that gives you 48,000+ total pet hp to start the fight with.

a nice thing to try might be 6 cactaur jugs and the new pet meditate hat, could knock a few thousand hp right off the start if lucky.

So can I assume that the pets are not effected by the AoE HP lowering move? It is true CC can take a hit but even with the pet food thats only 450ish HP from Zeta. I'm not so sure a full BST party could do this, but it would be intresting to hear about. If anyone does try a full bst party on this mob please leave a post about it. Thanks
