Pulling the Strings  

I just beat this thing for the fifth time, making me 5/6.

I have yet to get anything but the little worm mulch thing. And even that only twice.

I really want my bag of wyvern feed. And I would have liked to have received my warrior item, just to have it.

Time to wait another five days. -.-

I just did this enm i went with a 60 mnk 60 blm we all did it. the mnk failed, then the blm won, i went it was looking pretty good i got nothing in my favor though but attk bounus adn all abilitys recharged which was only sentinal (im a pld) i used a cheif mithkabob, pro3, yag drink, and a pama au lait. i had him down to half hp i was at half hp and still had 152 mp. Then the ******* moblin gave him 300tp he uses "Spirits Within" and kills my ***. It did 680 damage. i didnt even get to use any potions. This sucks *** for pld. The item you get is a ammo thing that gives you refreash.

Im gettign sick of this stupid ENM, I am now 4/5 on this my only failed attempt was teh first one. And i am 0/4 on drops. The only drop ive got was worm mulch. I mean wtf is up whith that? Sold it for 1 gil.

The drop rate on this is horrendous. I really want that earring

Did this ENM a little over 30 mins ago, started fight with TP wing, then Absorb VIT on the enemy, which was a hume with a scythe. He hit me hard for 100 per swing, but very slowly, started off with guillotine straight away, cast stun, few hits later, drained for around 150 hp, weapon bashed then took a high potion, at this point he used..... "Slice" rofl, but still for around 250.

He was down to just over half health. im at 100tp again. so i guillotine for around 600. he is 1/3 now. Moblin gives him 300 tp >.> - Slice again. i was down to 400 hp so i blood weaponed. i hit 100tp again, souleater - guillotine. He had a sliver of health, i had 200hp, he hit me again for 100 and it came down to hoping i hit him next. which i did ^^ i won, got tactical ring and 2000xp. Didnt use any food either

I didn't see many RNG strategies up so i thought i'd help a bit in how to go about doing this ENM as a RNG.

Well first thing is first, you'll either come out lucky which this ENM is almost all about or you'll get 1 shotted from EES >.< If you're wanting to win as badly as me for the nice Range Attack +20 earring i made a few precautions. I took with me a Blink Band i had bought previously, Icarus Wing, X-Potion, and Pamama au Lait (yeah the earring is that sexy for all this stuff!)

So i entered the BC, ate some squid sushi, used Blink Band for shadows then switched back to AF hat. Thought i'd use gun since i'd need a lot of power and build up TP fast for this fight. And ran up until i was in /shoot'ing distance of the Fantoccini. Used Sharpshot+Barrage hit him for about 559 damage. He does have range attack as well, so as soon as he got my Barrage he took a shadow away from a ranged attack. Reason being for the shadows, even though they are not 100% on absorbing damage it's the best defense you got for taking an Eagle Eye Shot. So by this time i have enough TP for Slug Shot, i use it then quickly use the Icarus Wing, the Slug Shot again follwed by Eagle Eye Shot of my own - this brings him to around just about half health. During all that i noticed the Moblin rolled in his favor for a 2 hour, i was too busy trying to SC with myself i didn't know if he completly missed me or shadow got it - either way i'm happy cause i'm taru /panic!

I then use the Pamama au Lait and he Barrages me bring me to around 200HP so i go to use my X-Potion and i didn't notice till battle was over but at the same time the Moblin rolled dice in my favor healing me for 230ish HP so with X-Potion i got about a total of 380HP restored, i just kept on range attacking till i got 100TP and used Slug Shot - took about 4 of them, EES, and ranged attacked to finish him off. He did get another Barrage off in less than a minute which had me worried but i survived with little more than 120HP left and won.

2000EXP and no earring ; ;

Was a good first try as RNG though, i do want to try with x-bow instead with bloody bolts, holys and acids to see if i can replace me using potions - so i'll be giving ti a try soon enough =) If anything, can't hurt to use Blink Band may need it soon again anyways, Good luck!

tried this today on RNG60

well, i didnt bring anything with e but arrows and lots of balls hehe

so, it seems the fantochini guy has twice my HP or so, and i got him to about 1/2 HP before he used barrage and EES on me hehe

good fun though, no exp lost, and only 22k to get in, so all in all it was fun =)

FRAPS'd it too, so when i get done compressing the video, ill share it with everyone =)

I plan on trying to do this tonight w my 61 paladin and was wondering what stuff I should bring w any if there is any certain strategy for this fight. Any help would be appreciated.

All drop are CHARGE item that work for about 5 minute from what i saw so far ... Item pretty much useless unless in some event. So keep it for that all info on all dropped item on Mysterytour if someone wanna see

I just did my 2nd attempt at trying this ENM and obtained a Spirit Lantern in addition to 2k xp.
Here are the stats:

Edit: I'd like to add that I think the BLM solo ENM is easy. The dice rolls were against me for both fights and all I used was a pumkin pie and a 2hr.

I'm planning on doing this as a 57 War.. is it possible? And if it is, should I macro in an Attack set-up that uses an Icarus Wing, then rampage the ish out of him, then switch back to a DEF/VIT passive set up until I have tp to get him again? I know having Raging Rush would -most likely- get me a W in this, but as it is, I'm damn close to 58, so winning this fight would most-likely put me into the next level, and a step closer to my dust-collecting hauby XD

Any advice would be nice.

Went in as 60 DRK and made him my *****. I had Sole Sushi +1, Vile Elixer, Vile Elixer +1, Hyper Potion, Icarus Wing, and of course all the best gear I could muster up. It was most definitely a cake walk. I Guillotined as soon as I saw the *****. Then I used Weapon Bash (since he does it every 30 seconds or so, I decided to do it to him). After that I just meleed til my TP was back up. By this point I think I may have used the Vile Elixer. After TP was back up, I used Soul Eater, Last Resort, and Guillotine. Immediately following I used Stun and Vile Elixer +1 and Blood Weapon. I never even needed my Hyper Potion. Oh yeah, before I began the whole fight, I Absorb-VIT him from the ramp. I can't remember if it worked or not, but it's definitely worth the try.
