Ive long wondered how the "TP bonus" works. I looked up forums and found two rumors;
"HYPOs" 1; You gain more TP each hit. 2; You do more damage with more TP, (ect; 200%TP 2x DMG, 300% 3x DMG)
FAQ: I know that TP gain is based on weapon delay. And that The higher delay on your weapon the more TP you get each hit.
I wield the Scythe so I took that into testing.
EQUIP: I choose two scythes with identical delay to get exact results; (Death Scythe vs Martial Scythe).
RESULTS: Each Hit with Death Scythe gained me 12.5 TP. Each Hit with Martial Scythe gained me 12.5 TP.
However, after each hit I seemed to get +2 more damage; Why? Because Double attack kicked in and I got two Critical Hits in a row, the first had 324 Damage but the next had 326.
SPECULATION/CONCLUSION: Since the decimals does not show up in the debug window I can only assume that by +12.5 TP you get +2 damage.
By rounding it up to more reasonable numbers I whould say that by dividing up the TP to "10+2.5" instead of 12.5 I can speculate that +10 TP gives +2 damage thus +5 TP = +1 damage
FINAL WORDS: I can not by say exact that +5 TP = +1 more attack to hits. But it's pretty close. Maybe some decimals we are "un-aware" of are playing factors. If my formula is true "+5 TP = +1 Damage" then you will get +60 damage with 300% TP to each hit. I am a STR collector and this will kinda make things hard for me because the STR I collect boost my WS, but since I will not use my weaponskills rather to getting more avarage damage then +ATK and not +STR whould be the optimum choice. This weapon will be best suited for +ATK collectors that will stack TP up and do HIGH avarage damage instead of weaponskills.
I appologize for any miss-spelling in my report. Regards!
