Why are some people so dumb?

...Or better yet, why don't most people use common sense?

eg. Ask a random person in-game with questions like these so you only annoy 1 person instead of 'x' number of people who view this thread. :P

Oh! And, yes, I know this post has no relativity to this thread/page/whatever the heck you want/decide to call it.

Ok... It clearly says it's a lvl 25 Dragoon trait, not a lvl 24 SAM sub job trait, not a lvl 21 Dragoon job trait - but a lvl 25 job trait...
"Jobs/Level: Dragoon, lvl 25 " That's what it says on the website.

Works versus Wyverns?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but does this work against Wyverns, too? Because Wyverns and Dragons are two differant things (if you want to get technical) and are clissified as two differant families on this site.

WTF....people it's used for when you go and help other players out to kill the dragons. and it helps later on in other places that you have to lvl or farm in.

Some people level off of wyverns (Typhoon wyvern, I think it's called?) end-game. This trait applies to wyverns and dragons.

As of the december patch, all "killer" and "circle" effects now add an automatic paralyze-like effect to the referred-to mob type. It gives a "[mob] is intimidated by [player]'s presence" message. Note that dragoon-type mobs can use this against dragoons' wyverns also. Killers and Circles and Paralyze can all be stacked. Circles last 1 minute and can be recast every 10 minutes. This information is from Squaresoft's patch notes (except the stacking part, that's from my experimentation).

It's passive, right? Passive should be just that... passive. That would mean it does this without the Dragoon having to trigger it... right? If so... then... the Dragoon would be more effective in killing dragons at level 25. Funny thing is... the first dragon that I know of that one comes across is the rank 3 emmissary quest dragon. So, in essence, this would basically be where the Dragoon finally starts out as a Dragoon. Good timing if you ask me... hehehe.
its a job trait not a skill...
# Feb 19 2004 at 11:10 AM Rating: Good
its a lvl 25 JOB TRAIT, that makes sense because there are no dragons to kill until lvl 25... DUH ^^

Dragoons are heirs to the holy seal. Not all dragons are nice, which ya learn on the quest to become a dragoon.

I find this job ability a little...weird in this category. I mean...your a Dragoon...with a dragon (Wyvern, whatever) and you get an ability that helps you kill dragons....hmmm.

It is specifically mentionned in all the conversation parts of the Dragoon flag quest that Dragoons have the purpose of fighting the dragons, but it is a vicious circle because the less dragons are around, the harder it is to form new dragoons.

The story stretches that dragoons are rare in Vana'diel at this point, and the discovery of the wyvern egg has to be hidden from those that would destroy it.

The npc that orchestrated the attempted murder of the Dragoon in the dungeons of the Chateau is said to bear an hatred to those with dragon blood flowing in their veins. I'll know the end of the tale tonight, I'm doing the second leg and the dragon killing tonight.

This trait has NOTHING to do with your subjob. You get Dragon killer at 25 Dragoon if your subjob is WHM, DRK, or WAR. (the three I tested).
