I was in a party in valley of sorrows a while ago with a smn/whm? and a rdm/blm fighting raptors. We had a nin tank, so it didn't matter if he got diseased. but every once in a while the rdm or smn would get it, and we wern't high enough for /whm to have viruna, but spring water did the trick. good pt..

and NOTHING will remove weakened.. nothing but time that is.
hateless CuragaII

One of the most major advantages to Spring Water is the fact that it draws no enmity towards the smn after it is cast making it clearly a better choice then using CuragaII. That and the fact it removes status ailments in one fell swoop ^^

This takes off anything covered by the -na spells, but not anything covered by Erase(No dia, dex down, frost, etc., but Curse, Blind, Silence, etc. do work). Also, it apparently only takes off one status at a time, so if someone is poisoned and petrified or something only one status will be healed.

When you look up at the top left of your screen, and see the icons for protect, and shell, and things like that? Everything that is bad for you, other than weakness, goes poof.

Edit: According to the information on the Erase scroll (the WHM spell that's point-use), it won't get rid of effects that already has a spell remover- so because of Cursna, Stona, Poisona, Blindna, etc, this won't remove Curse, Petrified, Poison, or Blind.

At least, the WHM version won't. It'd be interesting to see what this does on Curse. Would it heal first, then remove curse, so you have to heal the person again? Or would it remove curse, then heal the person to full (since curse cuts the HP down)? Or will it just not work?

Probably just not work. :(

"Leviathan cures all party members and removes their status ailments"

This means, it will remove every negative effect from you besides Weakness from being Raised.

Weakness from Raise will never be removable.

I have heard rummors that is gives regen and erase but it sounds like it just casts Curaga and Erase, which is correct? Is it basically Curaga or Regen?
Erase

So does this work like Erase? Does it take away Bio or Dia, etc? Or just things like poison?
no

No, weakened can't be cured, it's pointless to hope for.
