It's more like 6 seconds, where did anyone get 43?

Its one of the best looking BLM spells. It looks like Shiva's Diamond Dust from FF7. Very cool graphic.
i cant believe that no-one has tried to explain what it looks like.
this is one of the best looking spells in the entire game.
unlike the other blizard spells that centre around a chunk or some spikes of ice, this one littlerally bursts up from out of the ground & into a fat xmas tree shape with ice arms projecting out of its base & a couple more ice spike jutting out from the sides as it goes higher. it standing a little higher than the mob & the fully drawn ice effect stays for about 1-2 seconds.
almost every 1st time a blm casts this spell in a party, someone has to say wow ><

They for whatever reason havent gotten all the times right. It does take about 43 seconds, lol I love being a BLM, sorry had to day it ~nyoo~
if Ancient Magic takes 19 seconds to cast.. this means casting Blizzard IV .. you could beable to cast Freeze 2.2 times before Blizzard IV went off
True but if you got Freeze off twice then you just cycled through a total of 614 mp. And this spell only costs 164 mp to cast. I would use this and if I cant cast it again when I want I would go with the level 3 version or an aga if it is safe.

Umm, Why is the fast time instant. Cause in the guide book, its like 42.25 or somethin.
