I cant seem to get the low lvl saplings to use it ><
They always use sprout spin instead.
Anyone know any tricks to get mobs to use there skills more?

If you equip both Sprout Smack and Wild Oats (Plantoids - Physical, both of them) you get the Job Trait "Beast Killer" which increases your damage against beast-types, and causes them to sometimes be intimidated by you.

Slowing a mob is great if you land the effect early. I don't know the exact numbers and this doesn't take into account recasts, but having a mob slowed during a whole battle could keep a mob from hitting 20 times and limit it to 15 hits. That's X ammount less you have to cure for which means less rest to recover MP.

If you add a slow enfeeble with Metallic Body while soloing, that just lets it last that much longer while the cooldwon recast timer on Metallic Body comes back up.

A great enfeeble early on. Easily greater than Wild Oats (-VIT), which you get early on too. Paralyzing and slowing a mob really helps ninjas get shadows up more easily, too.

Lvl 4 to use, MP cost is 6, BMP cost is 2, physical spell, strong vs. beasts, Plantoid based.

Gives MND+1 when equipped, and the spell does dmg + slow.
