Mobs in Sea not Sky

Just happen to be reading. The mob is in sea which imo is much harder to get to then sky. Well they are making adjustments to make the CoP battles easier which I think they shouldnt do. For every promy RMTs are gonna load up on animas now that they wont be rare. When I lvl my Blu again I wanna get this ^^

Maybe we ARE broken. STR+3 DEX+3 from a spell? That's a Spike Necklace, without the -6 MND and without losing an equipment slot! Look at that. That's just wrong.

I wouldn't really say BLU is broken yet. Sure BLU gets some nice bonuses from equipped spells. And yes this is giving a good amount of a boost with no malifactor. But as for it being broken,well...

A: If we look at the level at which this spell is gained, although +3 to those stats would be nice, and it is equivilent to that of a spike necklace, I don't see many dd's still wearing one at 75. And although every point helps, there's still a lot of gear out there that adds a lot more than this spell does.

B: The mob from which this spell is learned is from a high level area (sky if I'm not mistaken), and the mobs are 75+. So I think you'll have a lot of fun times trying to learn it in the first place.

C: BLU is limited to how many spells can be equipped. So yes there are some lovely mods and bonuses you can get, but you are limited to only getting a few of those bonuses

Now my BLU is only 14 at this moment, and I must admit that it is a rather powerful job (easily solo chaining T mobs). However, although powerful, it does have its drawbacks. I can't equip every single spell I have learned, and it takes a lot of time and patience to learn all of the spells (I made sure to get every spell available at or near the level it is usable to keep my job up-to-date). I'm keeping my blue magic skill capped and sometimes I will go an hour or so before I finally learn the spell. I'm still working on getting Healing Breeze, and I've only seen it used twice with no luck. The rest of the time I either died or the mob never used it. Sure, Azure Lure dramatically increases the success rate to learn the spell to near 100%, but it's only available every 2 hours, so you're still looking at a possible 2 hour wait to learn a spell.

So, yes BLU is powerful, and it does seem to have a hand up on the other new jobs released, as well as some that have been around, but I don't think it's broken.

blu is not broken. i have not made it to endgame or even 60+ but i know that blu does take skill and time and dedication. blu isnt a job, its a lifestyle. if blu is properly used it can do incredible damage. the self-skillchain ability boosts the ability of a blu and yes, if used properly, it easily soars above other job's damage. blu can do almost any job: dd, tank(yes they can tank pretty decent if you have good spells,armor, and sj),heal, dispel even tho they might not be the best. there are still some things to discoever about blu. blue mages are not the guards of aht urghan just cuz their af armor looks kool.

Oddly enough, the best luck i've had getting ppl this spell is to take a good MNK along. The TP a good MNK gives makes the sharks spam this move. At least it happened the times i went to help.
