Darn! I was hoping for a +10 to tp return from WS...lame. That would have actually been worthwhile. Done that way it would have been awesome for war/sam in certain fights where rdm do a chainspell stun method...example: War sleeps to 150 tp with Martial Bhuj equipped, pops mighty strikes zergressor warriors charge and hasso, Steel cyclone for 40+ tp returned, meditate, steel cyclone, icarus wing steel cyclone...would have been very situational sure...but much more useful than what we got. I see very little use in getting a +10 to tp during ws unless they do in fact stack with Martial weapons...oh well...guess my merits will go into somethin else.
-Job Trait Overview *Game Description: Adds TP Bonus effect to Warcry. *Job Traits are always active. *Effect of TP Bonus is +10TP per merit expended on this trait. *TP Bonus extends to other party members affected by Warcry, with the bonus reduced by 50% (Party members will recieve a TP Bonus of +5TP per merit while affected by a Warcry with Savagery). *This bonus only affects Weapon Skills performed while Warcry is active. -Equipment that Enhances this Trait: *Warrior's Mask indirectly enhances this trait by extending the duration of Warcry by 10 seconds, providing a larger "window" for using your Weapon Skill.
To clarify somewhat, this doesn't add an AoE Store TP or anything like that (as might have been hoped). It's similar to the "TP bonus" found on the Martial set of weapons. That is, it acts as if you have additional TP when calculating WS damage. 1st merit turns 100% TP > 110%. Additional merits increase the number by 10%. Situationally useful, but compared to the other abilities. . .
