I've used this while in Campaign against Imps, and it does seem to work, I resist amnesia and silence with it.
Additionally, it also generates a fair amount of hate, I have turned many mobs using this while Pld/Nin.

Does this thing actually WORK?
If it works as well as our "Resist Sleep", then it's total garbage IMO. If it actually allows you to RESIST the spells entirely, then it might have some usefulness. Anyone know if this generates significant hate?
I know what some ppl are going to say "resist sleep works by reducing the time you are slept" to which my response is "no, the trait is resist sleep, not delay sleep duration, and yes I have seen "Bridger resists the effect of sleep" but it doens't happen very often, usually I am just woken from the mob hitting me.

This last 1 minute. Would of been a good ability if it lasted at lease 3 mins.
