Ok I'm only a lvl 15 BST atm I just started it 3 days ago. So with this Merit you can cap CC at 75 or is she already 75? I keep hearing she is the best jug pet you can get(but some say jugs suck and dont use em) but now I hear some people say Funguar are the best pets. They say they really are alot better with this Merit because they top out at 73. Any info would be great because even though I'm not close yet I plan on getting there eventually! ^.^

i have 2nd lvl beast affinity, even tho cc is capped at 75, it isnt same lvl as you, i heard it is few lvls lower, if you were to examine pet, it would be decent challenge
so me been 75, cc == 72 lvl
i have noticed the difference on increased damage and defense
at beadauz fighting qaadavs, my pet did 310 damage a hit
at lvl 1 it did 325
at lvl 2 it does 348

How many times can one place Merits onto Beast Affinity.
The way that the message regarding this new ability says that, Beast Affinity is a Combo Merit ability. The maximum amount of merits that can be placed into these new abilities is a total of 6. My question is this; Can Any ability be Merited the full six times? Reason being that Beast Affinity, if merited 6 times could enhance a jug pet by 12 levels total to a maximum of 75. I've asked many people from my Beastmaster LS, none of them have actually capped beast affinity yet, however many of them state that "beast affinity can only be merited 3 times". I havent found any genuine information regarding this. I've only merited beast affinity twice but if possible i'd like to merit it six times and leave every other new ability in that category at zero merits. Beast affinity would allow me to call a lv. 75 fungar if i merited that ability 6 times. Fungar is much stronger than CC, comparitavely on a lv. to lv. basis but unfortunately fungar caps around 63 or 65. Some claim CC is uncapped, others think it caps around 71 or 73. This I am also unsure of but thats another question entirely. Anyway.. Is it possbile to Merit Beast Affinity 6 times? Has anyone tried to do this yes?

Cap at 75 i have not noticed a big change with CC with 1 merit in it so far. It would be better if i could parse against a bst w/o the merit with a varity of jugs.

0rz ... CourierCarrie is already an uncapped broth, so if you are lvl75 -
she is also. so a merit on this ability isn't going to make any difference
at all on CC. i think this ability is one of those ones that both sucks
and is pretty cool. because it would be most useful to BST pre-lvl 75, but
you can't get it until you are lvl 75...but if you're like me and like to
use Funguar broths, this new job ability is pretty hot. Funguar is already
a kickass pet (which caps @65 i believe?) and can still put up a decent
fight against a 70+ mob. so being able to raise its cap to over 70, well
that makes a pet that can compete with CC's power. and not to mention
cost, which is only 600-800gil from the kazam vendor.

Actually, if you're 75 and don't have AF2 hands she'll pop at lvl 74.

Hmmm ... Does this mean jug pet can go to level 75 or beyond level 75?
If beyond 75, one would guess jug pet -still- would not affect XP negatively. Is that correct?
