Tabula Rasa is latin for 'A clean slate', rather fitting I think
Stacking Strategems

No one has posted on this yet, so I figured I'd share a little information on this 2-hour ability.

I'm a lvl 29 Scholar at this point, and I wanted to have a little fun after an exp party the other day. I remember somewhere someone mentioning that we can stack our Strategem abilities at some point but at level 29 I still haven't been able to use more than one at a time. Well, during Tabula Rasa I found you can stack more than one of these together. Using Parsimony then Alacrity cut mp cost and casttime in half. It's a little bit like a mixture between Manafont and Chainspell..but not really.

I think it would be worthwhile to create a macro bank setup with all of your heavy nuking or even curing spells, and just do something like this:

/ja "Parsimony" <me>
/wait 2
/ja "Alacrity" <me>
/wait 2
/ma "Thunder" <t>

The waits will certainly have to be adjusted...I'm not sure if you could eliminate them altogether, so anyone willing to test the times out could put them here. EDIT: I tested it out on my scholar. It's kinda weird..if you put a wait of 1 on each ability, the abilities will fire off, but after your spell starts casting...Not really sure how that works. You have to put a wait of 2 in for each..so it's a 3-4 second prep time before you ever start casting the spell...so you don't save much in the cast time, but I certainly didn't notice things being any slower. I was still casting pretty fast. More research will have to be done.

It may seem like you'd be wasting time with these job abilities, and for smaller spells like Stone, I might agree. I was, however, casting Thunder and Blizzard back and forth using both of these abilities and Alacrity at least makes up for the time you lose in using both abilities. The MP savings are also VERY obvious. I can only assume at this point that you could toss in Ebullience or Rapture to increase the output of said spells as well once at a much higher level. There may be a limit to just how many of these abilities will stack. I very much hope that some higher level Scholar will look at this and let us know. If not, then if I ever make it that high, I'll be sure to post it here myself.
